  1. Don't take my word for it. Test the idea yourself. I did and that's why I don't care about irons any more.
  2. I'd be pissed off too if I paid what they cost and I had to do the finishing work that CZ should have done.

What about it makes you think that it won't be every bit as durable? Could it be that CZ engineers took care of that?
  4. Yes, but completely unnecessary. Some people, who have no idea how to use an optics-sighted pistol, think that cowitnessed irons are needed to find the dot. They are wrong. I don't even bother with then on my carry pistols. At any reasonable self-defense distance there are ways to make effective hits just using index and the optics body.
  5. Very cool. We're close to getting an awesome indoor facility dedicated to matches and training. Will have to put up pics when it opens. Do the cops put too many holes in the ceiling and walls?
  6. The RMR has not fallen behind in durability nor in the excellence of its auto brightness adjustment, the two things that matter most to me. Closed emitter optics bring nothing to the table for personal protection and sport applications. Maybe they're swell for police use. I'll have to take your word for it.
  7. I've never heard anyone who thinks 9X19 is weak ever volunteer to take one in the chest. DVC......
  8. That beavertail thing with a thumbrest is not legal at all. Thumb rests are crutches, unnecessary with a correct grip. Irons tall enough to be seen through the optic is something you will have to setup using aftermarket sights. Don't know why you would want them. They are completely unnecessary.
  9. You would think that would be obvious to anyone, but it seems it's not.
  10. Have you tried calling LOK and Walther and asking your question? That's what I would do.
  11. That's why I had to leave. It was either leave the sport or get in a fight.
  12. You probably have better gun handling and muzzle discipline than almost all the fudds I've run into in the clay sports. It got so bad that I decided to quit sporting clays cold, before I got into a fight with someone over the numerous and constant firearm safety violations I saw every time at virtually every clay club I went to .
  13. Some (very few) clubs I've been to have a rule to not allow any shotgun with a barrel less than 26". It's a club rule, not NSSA, NSCA, or ATA. Fudds gonna fudd
  14. Not sure what you mean by any of that. Knowledge (or lack thereof) of someone's gun handling ability is irrelevant. We rule on what we see at a particular instance in time and nothing else. All but one of the 180 DQs I've seen were of people who are competent gun handlers.
  15. I certainly wouldn't squad with you knowing that's your attitude about muzzle control.
  16. Like @ima45dv8 said you didn't DQ them. They DQ'd themselves. You're just the one telling them about it.
  17. Where have you looked?
  18. Who cares? It isn't against the rules so anyone who disagrees will have to just stew in silence. I never ask the SO if I can or cannot do something. I know the rules better than almost every one of them locally. I just do what I do and deal with the ignorance later when they try to PE me.
  19. I guess I'd take the 3 second penalty and run it 4 seconds faster than everyone else
