  1. If I can't sort out the issues with the Jard trigger, that would be an option, but I really want to get this thing fixed. After replacing the trigger shoe on my 10/22 with one from Brimstone, I basically have a nice trigger shoe on a rifle that still has a crap trigger press. I'm pretty sure that replacing the trigger shoe on the PC Carbine will give me similar results.
  2. Not sure if anyone here has tried the Jard trigger for their PC Carbine, but if so, I'd be curious to hear your experience. I installed one in my brand new PC Carbine (no mods), and the damn thing randomly goes into burst mode. I contacted Jard and made the adjustments that they said to make, but I still had the same issues. Jard was cool and took it back for repair, and they were quick to get the trigger returned back to me. Unfortunately, I'm still having the exact same burst fire problem as before. The trigger feels great during dry fire, and I'd love to get this thing operational since the stock trigger is trash. I've noticed that there are a lot of aftermarket parts for this gun that have been quickly discontinued, including the Volquartsen trigger, so I'm guessing that these guns can be temperamental if messed with. If anyone has a fix for this issue, help would be appreciated!
  3. I had the FART, but it was REALLY loud and tended to leak. I'm using a Rebel 17 now, and am very happy with it, just wish it were bigger. Once I get out of Cali, I'll probably just switch to a Harbor Freight cement mixer to minimize my brass cleaning time. Cleaning brass sucks.
  4. A few months ago, I believe that the Mark 7 website had it priced at $4999. They have since removed the price.
  5. It's naive to think that the price increases are about anything other than greed. Why on earth would the primer/ power manufactures provide their components to consumers at a price that saves the consumer money, when they could make more money off ammo sales? They are purposely making it so that there is no real savings by loading your own ammo, which means more money for them. As of right now, you can buy 9mm for almost as cheap as it was pre-pandemic, while in the meantime, component prices have gone up by at least 30 - 50%. How does that make sense?
  6. I shot about 50 rounds through my poly 5" PDP, standard trigger. There didn't appear to be any unusual wear as some have indicated, however, I did notice on the ZRT website, they state that the long stroke guide rod is for SF pistols only. I believe they previously stated that it was for both poly and SF 5" models. I guess a phone call is in order.
  7. He wasn't very committed on the release date! I've been holding off upgrading to an Apex 10 waiting for this one. Expensive, but it works out to being close in price to an automated Apex. Very smart design, looking forward to the release!
  8. A couple folks on reddit are saying that when running this guide rod on the plastic PDP, the slide may contact the sear and/ or ejector. Has anyone noticed any unusual wear in this regard? I just ordered one myself -- hopefully it isn't an issue!
  9. Anyone have an update on this press? Looks promising!
  10. I don't know either. As stated above, I was told by a friend who works for the company that they would gauge just fine, and they do.

The factory PDP trigger is pretty bas-ass to begin with. The $17 Sprinco spring kit reduced the pull by about a pound. When doing Bill Drills, I'm able to pull better times with my plastic $500 PDP than any of my fancy 2011s with "better triggers". Of course, this is anecdotal...
  12. Here you go. The other three fit just as well as this one. Sorry for the delay!
  13. Sorry, I forgot about this thread. Just gauged all four of mine, and yes, they did all pass. I'll try to post a picture in a minute.
  14. I did, but I forgot to mag gauge them. I was told by someone I know and trust who helped develop them that they would gauge no problem. I'll double check this weekend.
  15. Does anyone here know if the TTI Versatile base pads will pass mag gauge with the 18 round PDP magazines?
  16. Just wondering what everyone is using for parkerizing tanks. I'm familiar with Big Jims, but I really don't need anything that large right now. Something like what is on this website (but maybe in a 24" + size with a lid) would be ideal. http://calvan.com/html/parkerizing_tank_kits.html
  17. What he said. This sounds like really good news for those of us who have been hesitant to purchase an Apex 10 due to all the priming issues.
  18. XL750 was my first (and still only) press. I had a few people tell me to just get a 550, and I'm glad I didn't listen. Looking back, I wish I got an 1100. Definitely go with a progressive press -- and probably the best one that your can afford. N320 is expensive. If you're looking to save money, Aliant Sport Pistol is significantly less expensive and in my opinion, doesn't feel much different than N320 (in .40 cal).
  19. Any updates on how the DA3000 is running?
  20. I was able to get 5k CCI small rifle primer from Natchez a couple weeks ago. Price came out to around $510 with shipping and hazmat.
  21. Good review, thank you. It sounds like a whole lot of issues for a press that costs so much money. I'm getting swayed more and more towards an RL1100.
  22. Haha... It was actually Gone With the Wind, but seriously, that thing is really damn loud to the point that I didn't want to even be in the garage while it was running.
