  1. Thanks brother, and yes I use Sport Pistol, whats a good starting point to load 135gr?
  2. I've been using124/25gr for the past 3 years, just wanted to see if I could experiment a bit and get some opinions, since I fell in love with the 147's just didn't like the sluggishness of the 147's but they felt extremely good and you're right, once the buzzer goes off you're not even concerned about felt recoil, pulse, etc. Since I've never tried 135 gr, in the S2, wanted to get some opinions/feedback. See what the consensus was~ Looking to see what others have to say, and I appreciate your feedback...
  3. That seems to be the issue with just about everything with reloading~
  4. For those that shoot 147gr through their S2's have you tried 135gr? If so, is there any dicernable difference between the two grains? Normally, I only shoot 125gr TC BB, but I tried some ammo that was given to me for free, about 100 rounds from a friend that loads specifically only 147gr bullets, during a match I tried his loads and for a second I thought, wow, these are nice. Nice recoil impulse, soft, but the only thing that I didn't like is that the slide felt sluggished, returning back to target. I would love to experiment with a different grain in 9mm, maybe 127gr or 135, I'm sure 127gr wouldn't make much of a difference... I like the feel of the 147, but I'll be nice to have the slide cycle just a bit faster, but not as fast as the 125... Thoughts? Thanks in advance~
  5. Check out YouTube for some comparisons between the Dillon 1100 and Mark 7 Evo! Don't get the 1050 if you're heading the Dillon route, but do get the 1100 instead. I have personal experience with Dillon 1100 and the Mark 7 Evo, in fact, I had them both running side by side fully loaded and automated, bullet feeder, you name it. I mainly was using the 1100 for processing brass and loading 9mm Major ammo but encountering a few hick-ups with the Dillon's toolhead activated priming system I decided to part ways with the Dillon, sold it as a complete package and stayed with just one press Mark 7 Evo. The fact is that I didn't need 2 presses, instead I should've purchased the Dillon CP 2000 for processing brass. The issue with the CP 2000 is that it can't be automated, at least to my knowledge. Dillon purchased Ammobot, but I have yet to see Dillon selling the Ammobot automated system. The Evo is a beast of a machine, beautifully crafted, well made and with better features, tighter tolerances, CNC made, press. The issue with Mark 7 is that it doesn't have the aftermarket support that Dillon has and parts availability. Each press has its pros and cons, and honestly you can't go wrong with either press. If your budget allows it get the Mark 7 but honestly speaking, you can't go wrong with Dillon either. I do like some features of the Dillon that I miss such as the quick disconnect powder, and the simplicity of the press oh and lets not forget the nice upgrades that you can do it.
  6. IMO, the P10F would work just as good as their newest "competition" 1k price tag gun... But I need to see one to compare, and check out... I have a love hate relationship with Poly pistols, lol~ But I mainly shoot S2's Blue/Orange pistols in CO division.
  7. It's pre production, I am sure most of the issues with flex, etc will be addressed prior to being sold to the consumer... The issue with FA is that they've been known not to produced quality products or better said, their products encounter QC problems, etc. But the press looks promising especially for the money and features and if it worksout it'll give Dillon some nice competition~ I've heard that Dillon is also working on a new 10 stage press, but?
  8. By the time you add shipping, etc you'll be spending just as much as buying a press... It does have some nice features but not for price, I'll stick with DAA bullet feeder and save the rest for some reloading goodies...
  9. Oh, and lets not forget the without the price tag too! Which in my opinion doesn't make sense but hey, people will buy it anyway. For some unk reason, CZ P10's have not been used in USPSA games much
  10. Would be best to use a Ransom bench to truly test accuracy. At the end of the day you can't buy performance, if you don't have your shooting fundamentals down and you're proficient, the pistol won't matter... But it'll be cool to test them all out, such as the S2 Orange, S2 Modded with the bushing, etc...
  11. Nice work! Would be nice to test out a modded S2 to compare
  12. What's the verdict on the above? They offer a lot of options to play with especially for 9mm, 115gr, 125, 135, 137, 147 and 150gr... Interesting! I've been wanting to explore a heavier grain than the 125gr that I normally use, most likely dabble into the 135, 137gr to test and see.. I'm not a huge fan of the 147/150gr, not a fan of how it cycles the slide...
  13. lol, thanks Mark! Dillon needs to step up that's for sure and with competition leading the way Dillon will have to adopt.
  14. I've been using BB TC for about 3 yeasr through my CZ Orange and Blue 125gr TC .356 profile, 1.130 OAL 3.8gr of SP. I've never used .355 profile, but .356 seems to work extremely well.
  15. Is the magwell area beveled or just straight wall? They could've flared the lower part of the grip to allow for easier reloads. Looks interesting, but more info on it would be nice~
  16. I'm in the process of trying out 9.3 gr of #7 will post results soon... HS6 was ok at best IMO to me it didn't track the dot as I would've liked it... I may even try a heavier bullet too, 135 or 147. Even though I use PD 124 JHP I never had issues with Blue Bullets out of any of my open guns... But I rather play it safe!
  17. Can't find the powder sense powder die in stock "ANYWHERE!" anybody has it? Also, what are a most have sensor? I'm leaning towards the primer, powder and bullet sense but definitely the powder and primer. Mighty Armory sells a die with a sensor for was less than MK7 or anyone for that matter so I may get his decapper with the sensor.. But I desperately need a powder sense. Tried the DAA Magnetic one but its not good for an automated press, spills all over the place... Some use the powder cop too, but again, automation is a different story... Any other recommendations? Please chime in, thanks!
  18. Meh, they won't be missed~ Cajun does better work which is proven and tested~ Not just for fancy looks, I had an issue with one of my S2 slides and unfortunately Primary Machine never made the attemp to make their work right, lesson learned~!
  19. How did it become "illegal" in production by a CGW bushing? No one can tell if the bushing is stock or aftermarket so?? Unless of course you tell the R/O checking your firearm
