  1. 9lb? That’s the lightest I’ve heard of someone running. Does it reliably return to battery? Mine wouldn’t with a 12lb.... factory weight is 18lb.
  2. I don’t think that was the issue. I torqued the bolts to the recommended 30 inch pounds. Im thinking more likely that sig produced a bad batch of romeo1s. The three I bought, and at least 4 others that had the same problems, came from the exact same seller on amazon. Although losing zero does seem to be the most common issue with R1s.
  3. Im curious, how many rounds do you have on your R1 6MOAs? i think the is sight great, but I have gone through 3 that wouldn’t hold zero past 1000 rounds, and I’ve see two other people that have had the exact same issue.

    P320 X5 Thread

My barrel has a slight mark in the same spot. I use a 14lb spring and have about 17k rounds on the gun. I recently switched to a 13lb spring, I guess I’ll keep an eye on it.
  5. I could never get to tape to last. I went with permanent silicon carbide and never looked back.
  6. I have a Dillon 1050, and a mark 7 auto drive. When I call Dillon for support, a friendly human answers and they have taken care of every issue I’ve had. When I call mark 7, since I don’t have their premium support plan (even though I recently bought a $3K autodrive), I get an answering machine. Sometimes I get get a call back a Couple days later, a few times now I’ve gotten no response at all. I have several issues that have simply never been resolved because they never called me back. Thankfully I haven’t had any serious problems. Customer service is important to me...
  7. I’ve been using decot prescription glasses for awhile. They’re great. The only drawback, and it’s a major one, is having to replace 2-3 sets of lenses when my prescription changes.
  8. I don't think its either of those things. I've noticed that it actually runs better when its half full or less. I get fewer bullets when its completely full.
  9. Did a run of 3000 today. I tried adjusting both the bullet feeder speed and angle. Lowering the speed made things worse, and trying different angles made no difference. Maybe it’s the bullets I use or something.
  10. I’ve never had a problem with my TTI extensions fitting the gauge and I have 15 of them.
  11. No, just slightly more tilt than the recommended 45%
  12. What MemphisMechanic said, I’m pretty sure I’m at 50-55 degrees. I found that it was way more consistent with the steeper angle, especially with flat point bullets. When I was adjusting it though, I didn’t even consider that a steeper angle might lower the bullet output. I’ll definitely check that out and report back.
  13. I have the angle set so that I never get upside down bullets. I made up 10000 rounds last weekend and had 1 upside down bullet. That said, I am not sure if the angle effects bullets being loaded into slots, I will have to mess with that and find out, I will try running on less than half speed as well. At 2100 it keeps up fine, it’s only at 2400 that I start to have issues.
  14. I run the bulletfeeder at full speed. I’m loading a 9mm 147 gr flat point bullet. I’ve noticed that it’s more likely to have runs of not catching bullets when it’s full. I generally start with the bullet feeder full, and add every time I add primers to the 1050.
  15. I agree, but nonetheless, they both failed exactly the same. Very frustrating...
  16. Currently I run a 1050 with a autodrive pro. When I’m running at 2400 RPH I’ve found that my mrbulletfeeder doesn’t keep up and I need to back off the speed to 2100 RPH or pause the autodrive to let it catch up. Im pretty sure I have the bullet feeder adjusted right, I get 1 upside down bullet per maybe 10000 rounds. But I’ve noticed sometimes it will advance 15-20 bullet slots without catching a bullet, and that’s when it falls behind. Are there any tricks or tips for avoiding this?
  17. So, after multiple issues with Deltapoint pro’s, I decided to try out the 6MOA Romeo1. The first one I received wouldn’t hold zero after 500ish rounds, figuring I got a bad one, I got a replacement. Well, at around 2000 rounds the replacement wouldn’t hold zero either. They both did the same thing, POI would be 2-3” low at 10 yards. It would take over a full turn of the adjustment screw to get it back on POA. Then in another 50ish rounds the POI would be low again. Really a shame, because I really wanted to like this dot. It’s very bright, and I prefer the 6moa over DPP’s 2.5. I’ve heard so many good things about the 6moa Romeo1, did I just get 2 bad ones in a row, or?
  18. Never considered spectators an problem. The only time I’ve ever had an issue was when someone showed up with their 6-7 year old child, which is still fine when properly supervised. However this person didn’t supervise the child like the should have. The kid would constantly get in the way picking up brass, and by the end of the day was missing an ear plug, that was sometimes replaced by a finger.
  19. Thanks for the info, one less thing to worry about.
  20. I’ve been working up some loads for next year, and I got to thinking about the effect of altitude on power factor. I live at 5500 feet and I will shoot atleast one major match at sea level next year. I usually load to 133-135 PF. I assume that I will lose some PF at sea level, but how much? Does anyone have any first hand experience with this? I searched around but didn’t find a definitive answer...
  21. Never had an issue with this, with over 35K rounds through various X5s. However I very rarely reload from slide lock.

    Extended mag release

I Could never find an extended release that didn't rub my support hand raw. Even the OEM extended release.
  23. They had some Black Friday Sales, but that's all I've seen.
  24. I had to go to the hardware store and get some longer screws, the ones they ship are way too short
