  1. Does anybody know where to get the old style para springs where all the coils are the same size, not the new ones that have progressively smaller coils in the middle?
  2. How possible, if at all, is it to install an STI for Para trigger into a para and then take the STI pad off and then use SV's interchangable pad on that one?
  3. When Jack Bauer found out his daughter lost her virginity, he found it and put it back. The popular video game "Doom" is based loosely around the time Satan borrowed two bucks from Jack Bauer and forgot to pay him back. After receiving repeated roundhouse kicks to the head from Chuck Norris, Jack Bauer was heard to ask,"Can you go a bit lower? I was crammed in an air conditioning duct between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and my back is killing me." Jack Bauer played Russian Roulette with a fully loaded gun and won. Jack Bauer" is Arabic for "I'm f@*ked". During the 18 months Jack Bauer was believed dead, CTU saved over $1 billion on ammunition.
  4. +1 They are better than anything I've seen. Way more durable too.
  5. Re-gifting When you don't know what to get your brother-in-law for Christmas, look no further. Now that's just funny.

    Got Video

So I guess it's only me and Matt now in Team Para
  7. From Shanghai Noon: "No, you said 'Wet shirt don't break,' not 'piss shirt bend bar!'"
  8. Ramshot Competition is another really good substitute if you don't like the smoke you get with Titegroup and lead/moly.
  9. I know this one is old, but does anyone know how to do it? How much work is involved to make it happen?
  10. I have a couple questions for those of you who have used Silica Carbide and Epoxy to make a grip. What grit carbide did you use? Did you apply the epoxy then sprinkle the carbide, or mix the two together then apply? Thank for your help.

    Ccf Raceframe

Is the ruling different than single stack, because in SS you can start with just a frame that has different features and use in SS can't you?

Will these be legal for production?
  13. Yes, I called Dawson. They don't have one that will work. The cut is not a factory dovetail. The smith that did work on it before I purchased it put in a new sight that I don't like (it's too wide). Does Dawson make custom cut sights? Or am I S.O.L. and have to stick with the one I have?
  14. I have a Para Ordnance with a 60 degree .320 dovetail cut for the front sight and Bomars on the rear. I am looking for a .100 or .105 fiber optic sight to replace the one I have one. I called Dawson and they said they didn't have anything for it. Does anybody know of where I can find one? Thanks for your help.
  15. I know that people load long to improve feeding and to reduce pressure. But if you have a load of 4.7gr Titegroup one loaded to 1.170 and another to 1.200, is the longer one going to have a softer recoil because of reduced pressure?
  16. I have read numerous times on this forum that trying to make major with clays is a bad idea. I also find some people that say that they do it, and have done it for a while. So what do the circumstance have to be to make clays make major safely. I will be loading a 200gr Berrys RNFP at 1.200 OAL. Does this lenth make it safe to do so or is there nothing that makes this load safe? If I was going to start working up a load where should my starting point be? What would be safer, a 180gr (which leaves more case room= less pressure but with more powder to make pf) or a 200gr (less case room= more pressure but would make pf with less powder)?
  17. Just tell me when, where, and who to make the check out to for match registration and I'll be there. Along with a few others.
  18. What a great match. It had everything you could think of; steel, hosers, weak hand, kneeling, prone, good moving targets, wonderful props, top shooters, good RO's, great weather, a good prize table and two of the best Match Directors you will ever meet. Thanks Mike and Souzan
  19. +1 on the Dr. Evil. When you do a stage in 48 sec with a no-shoot and the RO's tell you that it will be a really competitive score, it doesn't really leave you with confidence to go shoot the rest of the stages. I did enjoy shooting from inside the bus. I thought that was really unique. Thanks for an awesome match.
  20. I have these pouches and could not be happier. I was having a little problem with them being within 50mm to my body because I am a very skinny guy. I called up John at Speedcomp and he made some new spacers and they worked great. I just want to say that this company makes a great product and has even better customer service.
  21. Well I have been shooting this load now for a few months (approx 2-3k rounds) so I should be use to it by now. Also my trigger control is fine I can get all my hits in the A zone if I go slow and work on a small group with no problem. But like I mentioned it is the follow up shot that is really throwing me off by going low and left. Also when it recoils the sight go up and right. Burkett says that if they go up and right then relax the pressure on the right hand (I am right handed) but to me that just makes the problem worse. So I increase the pressure on my right hand and it seems to straighten out.
  22. I am a c class shooter with no formal training other than Burkett's videos, and books by Enos and Kirsh. The problem I am having is my first shot will be right on target but my second shot will go low and left consistently. I am not shooting splits as fast as I can, they are around the .30 mark. I am starting to get into calling my shots and seeing two sight pictures but this is really frustrating me. Is it my grip? The pull on the trigger? Or could it be something in my equipment. I have a Glock 35 shooting production with a 12lb recoil spring with about 3-4 coils cut off. My load is 200gr Berrys with 2.6gr of clays. For those who know more than me I would really appreciate your help. Thanks
  23. The softest I have found is 2.6 gr of Clays behind a Berry's 200 gr rnfp loaded to 1.140-1.145. It made a 132 power factor at the Golden Bullet Championsip this weekend out of my G35 with a KKM barrel. Some guys were giving me a hard time saying that I need to take the .22 conversion off for a major competition
  24. Check out www.handgunneroutlet.net. The +1 followers are probably just what you are looking for. I have the Arredondo extensions and got a very tight 20 rounds. After I installed those I have a very easily reloadable twenty. I am not in the slightest disappointed that I didn't get the extra round. I was looking for the easy reloading part. And the different mag bodies will vary, so some will get that +1 round.
