  1. People rarely regret paying more money for a higher quality product. Remorse usually comes from spending money on a budget item and later wishing that you had just purchased the better one in the first place. Buy once, cry once. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Welcome, from Kentucky! Quick question, do you find that the people shooting competition in California are a higher ratio of law enforcement officers than in other parts of the United States? Forgive my ignorance, but here in Kentucky I just don’t see a whole lot of other law enforcement officers shooting competition, and I didn’t know that if living in a place with much more strict gun laws mitigated participation from your average civilian. Just curios. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Lots of reloading and dry fire practice. In my office at work I have mini USPSA targets taped to the walls in different places and practice sight acquisition and transitions with a blue gun. Lots of draw repetitions and reloads as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I was heavy into USPSA shooting and reloading several years ago. I purchased a couple of presses (Hornady LNL) and was reloading several thousand rounds a year. After a few years my wife and I had a couple of kids and moved twice and the reloading equipment stayed boxed up and unused. Just this year I got settled enough to start back into reloading and a higher frequency of shooting, and I am soooo glad that I didn’t get rid of any of my old equipment. The bottom line is that you may regret it in the future if you sell your stuff, and it is far more likely that if you keep it, that one day you will be VERY glad that you did. Now I just need to sell all my Hornady stuff and buy a Dillon, haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I have heard that you can, but I have never actually tried it. I believe there is a thread on this. https://forums.brianenos.com/topic/97174-mp-recoil-springs-the-same-as-glock/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Natchez has some good sales sometimes too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. My first match was a classifier match at BGSL. I classified “C” class in production. I was slow and made several mistakes, but had fun. Todd McGowan got me into the sport. Not sure if anybody here knows Todd. He has since taken a hiatus from USPSA. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. I would have to say that the 2.5 is much better, especially for long range steel poppers.
  9. Hey! Do you mind saying which classifier it will be? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
  10. I'm a full time LEO, and when I started shooting USPSA I used an M&P 9L for production division shooting. At work I carry a Glock 21 with a TLR1 on it. To be honest, the gear setup never did cause me any issues or "training scars," but the difference in the pistols did cause some problems. I would do so much practice with my competition gun that when I practiced with my duty gun I would have to adjust to get the gun to naturally line up with my eye. Because of this I am switching my competition gun to a glock. So the gear setup hasn't been a problem at all, but using different guns does make a difference in shooting proficiency. Of course I know that people are gonna say "you should be able to shoot any gun you pick up, blah blah blah." True, you can shoot anything you pick up, but I can tell that I have done so much practice with the 9L that it was affecting the speed at which I was able to shoot my glock. Just food for thought. 11. I've had several light primer strikes on winchester out of an M&P 9L but never had a CCI fail to go off. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
  12. 3.8 TG Federal Primers BBI 125gr 1.130 OAL That's for my M&P 9L. Out of my friends P320 he only needed 3.6gr of Titegroup to make the same power factor. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

  19. It is awesome that you're coming back! And it is even more awesome that you are coming back to the sport with your son! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
  20. I was gonna go to the battle, but I'm not so sure now. It's a pretty rough drive from where I live. Besides, now I've just got this 9L to compete with and I'm just not satisfied with my performance with it since shooting my friends tanfo. I'm starting to see what all the hype is about. 21. Dude, tell us about the case! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
  22. It actually was a tanfo. It belongs to a buddy of mine that I shoot with. I would never admit this to him, but after shooting his gun it almost makes me not want to shoot my 9L in competition anymore. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
  23. I see your point medic. With a gun as sweet shooting as that tanfo, you should be shooting A class in no time. I'd say anything less would be sandbagging. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
  24. So did you not like the Sig as much? Was it a pretty good shooting gun? I've shot a few of those guns and they had really good triggers right out of the box, and with all the work that it sounds like you did to yours it must have been awesome! It sounds like a pretty sweet production division pistol. I bet with some talon grips and a fiber optic sight it could be a real competitor. I'm surprised you gave that up for an Italian, CZ clone.
