Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. I tried 147 campros with my x5. Terrible accuracy. Switch to 124 and was much better. Loaded with TG. I had heard similar stories that the 320 preferred lighter. I prefer the 147 myself. Glad to hear yours can eat them up.
  2. Nice. Alright ya the picture even shows those screws insanely long. How’s the rigidity of that hanger
  3. Looking for some feedback on the current ghost thunder elite. With the metal hanger. They are priced very well but what’s the overall build quality? thanks
  4. I had same problem on new shadow 2 where the ledge that has threads for grip panel is sharp and hung past where the magazine guide was. It made a big difference just bending that guide out a touch to force the mag foreword while it was being inserted. They still drop free. Oddly enough my older shadow runs the magazines fine. They are all mecgar 16 rounders.
  5. With one shadow 2 I had a cgw 13 pound main and ext. Firing pin. It was 100% reliable for Ginex and CCI primers. picked up a new shadow and put the Eemanntech ultimate spring kit in it. With their ultimate trigger. And she sets off Ginex no problem. The main spring is 9 pounds. I was surprised how great its worked.
  6. What’s your powder you run ?
  7. You run the regular hydra on the tanfoglio? That tanfo would be close enough. If that locking mechanism failed would the bottom portion keep that pistol in place? Or would it just tumble out? Personally I’d keep my kydex over the hydra p. But a full race holster is appealing however I always think they don’t look secure. But the Hydra maybe is more so?
  8. Huh. Well I suppose that’s why it’s hard to find info on this holster. Not as popular as I would have thought.
  9. Any first hand experience on the hydra holster and a shadow 2? What I’m after is if the trigger guard latch failed or was not properly secured would the bottom portion of that holster keep the gun in place? Or would it just simply fall top forward and flip out? The Hydra P would obviously keep the firearm in the bucket but I’m talking just the regular hydra. I don’t shoot USPSA so the coverage don’t concern me. A open gun seems to remain secure do to length but production type guns are pretty flush with the bottom. Those screws sound like the only serve to take up any wiggle but I haven’t handled this holster. Just looking for feedback on this type of rig.
  10. ya bad explanation on my part. Most extra length coats are the same width right to the bottom. But this hangs up on your belt mags and holster. Or won’t fit over them when it’s done up. Obviously a regular jacket will settle above your gear or be too tight to get over it when it’s done up as well. Atomic made a long coat with a regular length zipper. Then that bottom portion just lightly hangs over your rig while the zipper is done up. Keeps all your gear dry. No dust, snow or weather settles on it. sitka had a kodiak coat same idea. But both are no longer made and have limited sizes if you can find one. I need large. https://www.1shotgear.com/products/sitka-gear-kodiak-jacket-clearance-sale https://www.atomic.com/en-ca/shop/product/rs-rain-coat-ap5109500.html#color=22762 pretty much need a tactical style cowboy rain slicker with a hood. Running a extra large rain jacket I could cover my gear but it’s too bulky IMO Perhaps I’m dreaming here but dang if you gotta compete in crappy weather this would be the “slickest”. no? Figured maybe some had the same idea or a product I’m not aware of. the weather in southern Alberta is as wild and unpredictable as a feral horse.
  11. I’m on the hunt for a waterproof windproof coat. However I’d really like to find one that is a bit longer to cover my belt, mags and gear. Seems everything is full length zipper though. Has anyone found a coat that flares out a bit and has a normal length zipper but is extended in length to about the thighs? what does everyone ware outside of a poncho for windy rainy days?
  12. I spray a couple pumps into a plastic container then add about a 200-250 brass. Shake it up dump and repeat.
