  1. Does anyone know where you can get additional hardware for Safariland ELS? Looking for the threaded hardware with the fins. I am assuming I can go check lowes but wanted to see if anyone has found these.
  2. I did not say that there is an issue running them in Limited. That is what I use them for. I just wont run them in 3 Gun. For where you are at in shooting matches an still trying to figure stuff out, these are a good set of pouches. Don't worry about the STI and limited, shoot what you own for a while. An STI comes with a lot more work and cost than most people think. I am not coming out to Colorado for a match, I am heading out there for vacation for a week with the family. I will be shooing while I am out there so I am going to bring my rig and P320. Send me a PM and we can work on linking up so you can see the rig in person and make a decision.
  3. Yea they are strange to write about. There is nothing about them that stands out from all other pouches when it comes to design and features but they flat out work and last. They come with a bunch of extra screws which I have yet to have to use any as without lock tite they never come loose. There is also spaces you can add or remove to go from single stack to double stack. I did remember one thing that people should know. I run 4 pouches on my rig and the back mounting plate is a little thick and wide. When you have multiple pouches next to each other on a belt you loose the Velcro connection between the inner and outer belt. I simply used some sticky Velcro from lowes and added it to the back mounting plate on the belt and it holds like a champ.
  4. I run a black scorpion belt as well as the mag pouches with my P320 for USPSA Limited. To get down to the point here. I do not have a reason to not recommend these pouches. They are made of plastic so I will not be using them in three gun for USPSA Limited they do their job well and hold up. After two years I have not had a single part break or go bad. The only thing that I am not a fan of is that the screw for adjusting the cant of the pouch is dead in the middle which means you have to remove your magazine to loosen the screw, adjust, retighten then reinsert the magazine to see if you got it right. But once you have them adjusted they are good to go. I have yet to have one loosen up on me but I also tend to check all screws on my rig atleast once a month. I got these because of the price and really they hold up and are probably worth a little more. If you have any other specific questions or would like some pictures let me know and I will be glad to help. @funkymonkey1111 I will be in Lakewood / Morrison the first week of next month. If you are considering these pouches I will have my rig with me so you can see them in person if you want.
  5. I don't have any experience with the pouches that were linked but I have been running these Black Scorpion Pouches for 2 years now if anyone wants any input on them. https://www.shootersconnectionstore.com/Black-Scorpion-Storm-Pouch-P3589.aspx
  6. Interesting to hear about the primer issues. On my turret press I hated the primer system until I got it adjusted perfectly, but even still I have about 3 primers out of 100 that fly out and I spend 15 min on the floor looking for the primer. If I bump into my primer arm I will be unhappy to say the least as I will have to start all over again readjusting and lining things up to get it complete the simple task. I also swear that there is a issue with my de-priming die as the brass never lines up and I have to push the top of the brass to get it to seat in the die. I also like what I saw with the Dillon spent brass cup. Below is my set up and there is no room for the damn tube for spent primers so I have to use a small box but at time the spent primer hits the pivot bars for the lever and shoots the primer behind the press or to the side.
  7. Thank you all for the input and advice. I cant be happier belonging to a site full of professionals like you all. You make a great point here. I have use the "build your press" on Dillons site and when I see the $1000+ price I have been apprehensive but now that I think about it, I can look at saving for jus the press then adding options to it as I go. This weekend I was trying to get ahead with reloading instead of doing it the day before a match. I loaded about 400 rounds and then it started to hit me that I cold have finished this in 1/4 of the time with the right progressive press. I don't regret owning a turret press as I still think it is fundamental to learning reloading but I am now at the point where 4 pulls of the handle for one round is starting to get annoying.
  8. I shoot USPSA Limited and reload a lot of 9mm on a weekly basis. I started my reloading venture with a Lee Turret Press but I am now at the point where it is time to upgrade. I am trying to decide if I should go with a lee progressive press or a Dillon. Now I understand that Dillon is viewed by most as the top of the line press but what I am looking for is input as to what benefits I would get out of the Dillon vs the lee. Please keep in mind that I am in the military so I do not have deep pockets which is why I am leaning towards Lee. Also can someone let me know what model I should be looking for incase someone one this site sells one? I plan to use this only for pistol and keep my current Lee turret press for rifle.

    P320 X5 Thread

For those of you with the X5 is looks like Comp-Tac is now offering a holster for it. http://www.comp-tac.com/competition-holsters/international-holster-10241
  10. I thought the same about the 15# wolff spring, moving to the 14 was a big difference.
  11. I have been using Wolff but for my next set I am going with ISMI.
  12. Thanks for the information. I am new to shotguns so learning as I go. I looked up a video by Boyds on LOP and I will be taking some measurements this evening!
  13. I have seen questions posted about the compact stock but no one as provided a firm answer that I could find. Now that I own a M3K I can totally understand why people are cutting down the stock. I am short and stocky so this is on my short list to do. 1. Will the Stoeger Compact Stock fit the Mk3? 2. Is it more beneficial to just cut the stock vice buying the compact considering the compact is only .75 shorter? 3. What is the typical length to cut off from the stock? 4. I have seen many postings about MOA making a pre-fitted Kickezz pad for a shortened stock. Nothing is on their site for this, do you have to contact them?
  14. I have been told that 15lb 1911 spring is equal to the factory spring but I have personally not tested both to be for sure. I am running a 14lb in my P320 (9mm) for my reloads (135gr, 3.2 prima v). I am considering dropping to a 13lb. I have tried up to 16lb and so far prefer the 14.
  15. Posted a WTB ad in the classifieds looking for 3 gun related equipment to build a rig so I can start shooting 3 gun in addition to USPSA Limited.

    P320 X5 Thread

I think we have a spy in here providing intel to Sig about what we talk about! @alma! haha Thanks for sharing!
  17. Hell with a 40% discount I would go all out. That is a deal that I personally have yet to see. That is awesome to have someone to help with set up. Sadly I don't know anyone who shoot competitively so everything I have learned has been based off research along with trial and error. Like my venture into 3 gun, I keep emailing the guy here who runs the 3 gun matches asking if I can ask some questions and never receive a response and to be honest the shooters at the matches here tend to be a little... "stand off-ish" compared to other venues I have shot at so asking for advice normally yields the response of "go look online" or "this is what I like and not sure of what else there is out there" haha. But I still love the sport and wont let that stop me. Best of luck to your friend!
  18. I like your input and appreciate you taking the time as every bit of insight and information I learn from. Please post on here once you make a decision and show us some images of your set up.
  19. You are correct. I am looking to build a 3 gun rig and when pricing out the ELS I was blown away when you add all the ELS clips required. I have used Tekloks in the past and I am still considering them but I want my rig to have the flexibility to remove items when not required for a stage and with the TekLoks you have to remove the entire hanger which will require a fair amount of readjusting placement when adding items back on the belt to ensure items are placed in line with my muscle memory. Maybe I am just to OCD. haha
  20. I have been researching this same topic for building a 3 Gun belt. The one aspect that is driving me away from the ELS belt is while the cost of the belt is not bad at all, the ELS clips really start to add up when you looking to mount 4-5 mag pouches and 3 shotgun shell holders. I have no doubt that they are quality but it also limits me to only being able to use the ELS belt in the future. My experience with my USPSA Limited set up is that the mounting clips outlast the belt.

    P320 X5 Thread

I can understand the frustration with Sig. I am ready to purchase the X5 only to find that the X5 in 40 is not expected to be released until some time in 2018. What I think is the most frustrating is Sig's lack of marketing. Many of us would understand and be more tolerable of delays and staggered releases if Sig utilized social media to interact with customers. I would love to have seen Sig post up teaser images of the X5 after shot show, provide information on what caliper will be released first etc. I am a Light Painting Photographer and love to light paint weapons. The below image I took of a glock 19 (no photoshop). I think images like this teasing an upcoming release almost like cell phone companies do to build hype before a keynote. Look at the VTAC and the X5 carry, there is zero information on any rough release timeline yet. Regardless I am a Sig Fan Boy and will continue to wait until next year to order the X5 in 40. Wish I would have known that earlier as I have been saving since shot show only to find out this month I had many more months to save up. I did check Sig's website for job openings and there is a lot in the marketing and advertising divisions so maybe that is a sign for a more interactive Sig Sauer to come.
  22. That is what I thought but wanted to make sure. I am a Marine so comprehension it not my strong suit at times haha. Thanks as always for your insight and advice.
  23. Are you recommending the BOSS over the Bladetech here or are you referring to the rigidity of the RHT double layer holster body?
  24. Thank you all for your input. I am leaning towards the RHT double layer holster and hanger.

    P320 X5 Thread

I listed Open when I asked the question. I would like to see and X5 setup for open but I do not think that we will see it anytime soon but I am sure someone will do it. I have never shot open but do not know if it would even be a contender. I am waiting on the 40 to come out as I shoot Limited and the X5 in 9mm will have a disadvantage so I will be waiting until next year.
