  1. Guide rod and spring I would highly recommend. The tungsten guide rod will add 3.4oz and set you back about $100. The steel rod weighs 1.6oz and is about $20. The only other thing I would recommend is an extended mag release. There are many other parts you can get but focus on shooting and only look for parts when you identify a need for improvement with your weapon. I also shoot Limited with a P320 and will be more than happy to provide any input or advise, don't hesitate to shoot me a message. You can shoot your P320 in Limited Major without having to by another weapon. Purchase a caliber exchange kit in 40 s&w and your set. Granted it will not be the X5 slide but replace the sights with a set of Dawson comp front and rear and you are all set. I have a 9mm set up for 3 Gun and a 40s&w for USPSA.
  2. It is $99 for the X5 module through Sig as well (https://www.sigsauer.com/store/p320-x-five-full-size-grip-module-9mm-40-auto-357sig.html) There is also the X-Series full size grip which is the same at the X5 without the magwell and grip weight for $59 (https://www.sigsauer.com/store/p320-x-series-grip-module-9mm-40-auto-357sig.html) Those that have access to the military and LE program can obtain the X5 for about $73.
  3. I am working on a project with my Sig P320 for USPSA Limited. I recently obtained a frame weight with thumb rest that I want to run for a few matches this year. The issue that I am dealing with is a holster for this set up. Due to the thumb rest, having a custom made kydex holster is out of the question. I am looking for recommendations for "universal" fit speed holsters or speed holsters that will work with the P320. Here is what I have been looking at so far: Guga Ribas: I purchased this one. In the pic below you will see I have been able to make it fit but the trigger area is not fully covered. I am working with a local kydex guy to have panels made to cover the trigger area. CR Speed: They offer a "universal" model but still list certain pistol models. So not sure if the P320 will fit Hogue: Watching a video on this holster I don't think I would invest in it, seems a little weak on the retention side. DAA: I have already talked to their service reps and they stated that their holster would not work. They do make a P320 insert but I have no means to look at one of their holsters to see if I could modify the holster to fit the weight. Safariland 014: I would really like to get my hands on one of these as I think that it is the most promising. I have seen the term "universal" used with this holster as well but I know they make them for specific weapon types. Any other holster options that I am missing. Does anyone happen to have a speed holster and a P320 that they could see if the P320 would fit?

    Grip module

Yes it will work. This is the backbone of the P320. The ability to swap out different components without having to buy another weapon. the 21 round mag will not have any issue fitting in the standard full size grip. It will stick out more at the bottom since you do not have the magwell from the X5 covering up part of the magazine but they all use the same mag release in the same location so there is no issue. I will gladly buy the X5 grip off of you if you don't plan to use it anymore.
  5. I hope you find a solution. I am also having this problem and it is driving me nuts. I almost filled a ramp into the die in station 1 so that it could help the case angle in.
  6. I am still in the Marines and the Beretta is FAR from flawless. I am so happy the Marine Corps decided to evolve with modern times. We are typically the last to adapt new tech but a lot of that has to deal with our limited funding compared to the rest of the DOD.
  7. I agree completely. I have one and it was night and day after installing. I even polished all internals of my FCU and it did not make a "huge" difference because Bruce has put so much attention to detail in creating these kits.

    320 Light Strikes

personally I have never had that issuer in over 4 years of shooting with a P320. I have used factory ammo, my own reloaded ammo with Federal Match, CCI and Winchester primers. If you did have this issue I am willing to bet Sig would fix it at no cost but I have not seen it on mine or others.
  9. Best upgrade..... this Forum! Answers to all my questions, insights and reviews on all matter XL 650 related haha For me, aside from what has already been mentioned I would say the Primer Stop Switch.
  10. Nope not a cart and not on wheels. It is a Kobalt Workbench from Lowes.
  11. Finally got some time to organize the bench with the new XL650. Still have a fair amount of work to do. I am very OCD so the area is still stressing me. I got the crud catcher from Dillon upgrades and I am not thrilled with it. The crud catchers could line up with the holes on the case feeder better and I would prefer to have the primer tubes hanging off the front of the case feeder instead of the back so I may be removing this and looking for another primer tube mount or holder. Over all I love the XL650. I am still working out little kinks here and there like the brass not lining up with station one and hitting the die. I have tried the recommendations offered here but it seems that the device that pushes the shell into the shell holder pulls the case black slightly every now and then so I may have to look at the HotShot case lube and any lube that may be on the press that may case the case to stick at times and pull back slightly. I will try and grab a video or pictures of this over the weekend.
  12. Only one way to find out! Let us know how it goes when you receive your kit and install it haha
  13. I am so torn on the mini bullet feeder. I ordered the powder check with mine that is sitting in that station. I may build the famous $28 bullet feeder and try it out for a while.
  14. Great information! I was getting irritated with mine and go figure I am using Winchester primers. Going to pick up some CCI today! I also love the idea of drilling the hole in the top to fix stuck primers! I realized real early that the fill tubes that come with the device cause a lot of issues, I just pull the yellow top off my Dillon tubes and fill directly into them.
  15. Was hoping you would get some replies as I have seen this from time to time mentioned as well.
  16. That is shipped from Slovenia. I was seeing if there was any US individuals or companies that make similar items.
  17. Love the idea of this part but can't find it in the US. Anyone seen anything like this before or know of anyone in the US that makes one? https://armanov.com/eu-shop/dillon-parts-upgrades/hex-key-holder-for-original-dillon-hex-keys-and-some-accessories/
  18. haha I wish I was selling guns for Atlas. That is just inspiration. I have removed the monitor from my reloading area as it became a distraction at time. That was the before pic that I said I would upload, The after pic will come within the next 2 days.
  19. I talked to Sig when I was going to order a caliper exchange kit from a company online. Anything with a date of Nov 2018 and after has the upgrade completed. All companies who owned any Sig pistols, exchange kits etc were informed to send the items back to be replaced with upgraded inventory. When in doubt as look for the Nov 2018 date
  20. Not yet. I did have one member who said he was sending me some so we will see this week. I appreciate the offer. This is why I love this community. hahah I love the "so we can tell you what you did wrong" I am waiting on the inline mounting plate, ergo handle and a few other items to arrive today. I should have pictures uploaded by Wed and would love feedback. My old press was mounted on the far right. I may leave it on the right for a week of so then replace my workbench top to I can mount it towards the middle. I am OCD as hell so it would drive me nuts having the old holes showing on my workbench. Here is what my area did look like. This is a older image but you will get the idea.
  21. I have tried to search this but not sure what key words to use to find the answer so I am having to ask the question. Set up my 650 this weekend and love it. The only small issue I am having is at station 1. I am using Lee pistol dies and about 1 out of 5 times the brass in station 1 will hit the lee die and I have to reach my hand under the die and tilt the top of the brass over to go into the die. This would also happen at times when using these same dies on my Lee Turret press. Do you think that I have a faulty die or is there a way to adjust the arm that pushes the brass into station 1 to ensure that it is getting pushed in all the way? I am thinking about picking up another size / deprime die today to see if the lee die has a defect. Would you recommend that I stick with lee or is there another company I should consider? I have been using Lee dies for over 2 years and love them but they are also all I know.
  22. I'm waiting to hear back from this guy. Let's hope that it is not sold.
  23. I had to post this as I am sure that many of you have been in my shoes and remember the feeling that I have today..... My Dillon 650 is being delivered today!!!! Yup that's right boys and girls, I have finally made the leap, the plunge, I am moving on up... to the blue side.... to the deluxe reloader in Dillon blue! Along with the 650 in 40s&w I also ordered: Dillon: Quick Change Kit, 9mm caliber conversion kit, case feeder with plates for 9mm and 40, Powder Check, Install DVD, Spare Parts Kit, Bullet tray, low powder sensor, Primer flip tray, tool holder with wrench set, extra primer tubes Inline Fab: ergo handle, Ultra mount plate for 650 DillonUpgrades.com: live and spent primer catcher, case feed crud catcher Ebay: Grand Slam Performance Improvement kit (Roller cam follower, low mass detent ball and spring, oil lite top plate thrust washer bearing, rotocam actuator and the primer stop switch) Reloading Innovations: Starlight press light. I have always used inline led strips in the past but I really like the design of this lighting system. Amazon: Frankford arsenal vibrator primer thingy. Yes I know that many people hate this product but I have watched many videos on how to mod the device to make it run smooth so I am going to try it. Huge thanks to everyone on this site as I developed this shopping list over the last year from reading all the posts and feedback from the members here. So today I will retire my Lee turret press and become a big boy who can potty on his own haha. Think back to the day when you were in my shoes, when your first dillon was arriving, did you feel like I do... all giddy like you are about to go on your first date or am I just weird haha. I do have one question. With my lee, I mounted it on the far right of my bench. Since it is a turret press everything happens on the left side of the press. For the 650 do you find that mounting it center of your work area is best or do you find yourself working mostly on one side of the press compared to the other? I think I am going to mount my center but just want to check. I will post some before and after pics!
