  1. Yeah, that magwell gets expensive once you buy 18 rounders and basepads. One other problem for idpa is the rubber pads will not fit in the box as is. You have to shave alot off of them too. I chose to shave the material off the plastic basepads instead. I will be at PSC Saturday if you want to take a look at mine. Gregg
  2. The new magwell requires the 18 round mags and either the rubber basepads or drastically cutting the plastic pads. I put one on a 75B for esp. The magwell will also need about 3mm's shaved off of it to fit the box.
  3. I got some of those shooting 147's in my shadow till i loaded a little shorter and shaved my slidestop down.
  4. A friend and I finally got our winchester small pistol primer order from Powder Valley. It was on backorder since April 09.

    Round Dumping

I don't see how it could be called consistently. Most of the round dumping i've seen is done methodically at a spot that really couldn't be questioned, much less proven.
  7. Yeah, what instructions did they give you to fix it?
  8. I'm aware you can use high caps loaded to division max. SSP page 19-20 "Competitors must use the same capacity magazines throughout the competition. (Example: if you start with a 9 round magazine, you must use that capacity magazine throughout the match.)"
  9. Yeah, you have to use the 10-rounders throughout. page 19 of the rulebook.
  10. I covered my shadow's ears while reading Rich's comment out loud. That was funny.

    CZ P07 Duty

i do like the way they feel.
  12. i use montana gold 147's under tightgroup in my 75B. powder choice varies between shooters. should be some info under the reloading section on various recipes. i do shave the slidestops down in my cz's due to some jamming in my shadow last year.
  13. Doesn't look like the info is posted on the site yet. I'm sure they are working on it though. http://www.texassouthsection.com/
  14. I use the magic dot. A clays shooter suggested them. I like the fact that no residue is left on the lense and they come in different colors to match your lense color. I've only seen these in pro shops but I did a search and came up with this link. http://www.morganoptical.net/pageDisplay.jsp?pageid=7631
  15. That is a sharp looking set-up.
  16. put some grips on that gun. they will help protect his little hands if it blows up.
  17. are you referring to the phantom? as stu said, the shadow has a thumb safety. not sure i've seen a shadow with a grip reduction. its pretty skinny with aluminum grips.
  18. anyone know what happened to ajaxgrips.com? The website is no longer up.
  19. i see some christmas gifts on there.
  20. I use the Bladetech for my shadow with the belt attachment. Tried the DOH attachment and didn't care for it.
  21. I actually like Jody Hill's The Foot Fist Way. I just didn't think the humor worked as well in this movie.
  22. the match looked fun. however, that swinger at the 4 minute mark looked brutal.
