  1. Good luck at Nationals Charlie!
  2. Was on 3 minutes after it opened and tried multiple times to register, but got an error message. After about 40 minutes of trying, finally got through, but got the same "wait listed" message as above.
  3. Man, that sucks!! Remember, it's not what happens to us, but how we react to what happens that matters!
  4. I have a Pro 1000 that I use to reload .40, 9mm, and .38 super. The only thing that I need to change between these calibers is the turret with the dies on it. I have a separate turret with dies set for each caliber, and it takes all of 30 seconds to switch. The only other thing that needs to be adjusted between .40 and 9mm is the height of the case feeder. You will need to lower it a little for the 9mm. FWIW , I reload around 50,000 rnds a year on my Pro 1000, fully progressive. No reason at all to deprime/size and prime separately. I can load 800 rnds an hour no problem with mine. If you need any more help, feel free to send me a PM.

    Food for thought

Life is a journey of learning. Approach everything you do with an open mind, to see what you can see, to learn whatever may be there to learn. There is nothing to prove, ever, but there is always something to be learned.
  6. Are they not counting the scores from Area 1? Area 1 is in the update. Congrats!!! Cool, Thanks!
  7. +1 Fantastic match , and Squad 23 was a blast to shoot with. Anybody know how I can contact Carey, I need to become a distibutor for his "TIGER CLAW"
  8. Just ordered this book, and am really looking forward to reading it, should be insightful.
  9. Are they not counting the scores from Area 1?
  10. There is no try.....there is only do.
  11. Like I said earlier, I am not a master. Nor am I a pro. I have the great opportunity to have a shooting buddy who has been shooting for a long time and is a pretty darn good shooter. What I have learned from him that I believe is very important, not only to shooting but any endeavor worth pursueing, is to "never be satisfied".I am ALWAYS looking for a better way. This means being open minded and willing to try. And also willing to fail. To quote Thomas Edison "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work" Just because one way works for someone else, does not mean it is the best way for me, I am constantly trying new ways to do things, sometimes it works better than the old way, sometimes not, but either way I am always learning, and progressing. This takes time and effort, and I firmly believe that there is a direct correlation between the amount of time and effort put into something, and what is achieved. Here are a couple of my favorite quotes that support this belief, and keep me going. "I'll do what you won't today, so I'll be able to do what you can't tomorrow"- Unknown "Continuous effort, not strength or intelligence, is the key to unlocking our potential"-Winston Churchill
  12. I'm not a master.....yet, but if I've learned anything, it's that short cuts never get you to where you really wanted to go. Nothing worth having ever comes easy.
