I broke the news this morning to my girlfriend that Huff was cancelled by Showtime. She loves that show and depression quickly set in. Now I have to tell her that Deadwood is 86'd as well? I'm not looking forward to tonight. But at least I can drop both channels without much of an argument.

matthew and i spoke about this at space city and i agree with his point. to me, this has never been about the competitive edge that milling may bring but clarifying how this is not considered an external mod.

All I shoot is production and I say leave the rules as they are. Yes, the division has become an equipment race but its too late to change it now. I beat and get beat by custom worked production guns and when i get beat i don't blame their expensive mods. Leave the mag limit alone. I don't think we need a limited minor division. Plus all the mag changes are fun.

I agree. I guess you have to trust the front sight after you switch your focus from the target to the sight. It does get confusing when the targets split.

ported barrels are not allowed in production. i would go with the 5 incher. although i shoot a glock 34, i have shot the xd tactical with the canyon creek trigger and i was really impressed. i think the extra length helps with recoil and long distance accuracy. but that's just my opinion.

if you don't mind driving an hour, the greenwood match near lake jackson is worth a trip that weekend. bill runs a good match. also there are two weekday matches in houston. trigger time shoots every tuesday around 5:30 pm at american shooting center, and rangemasters shoots every thursday evening. not sure about what time they start. check texassouthsection.com for info on the greenwood and rangemaster matches. go to triggertime.us to get contact info for the tuesday match.

great picture Southpaw. you made the most of your one shot. thanks for running the camera for me sunday. you did excellent work with that too. it gave me more time to figure out other ways to screw up a stage. jeez, his gun shoots really flat.

i would like to thank matthew, howard, ben, gary and phil in squad 18 for making my first major an awesome experience. you guys made it fun. thanks to matthew for putting up with so many questions and giving me pointers. its the only time i have smiled after having my tail so thoroughly kicked. nice to meet marks, chet, xre, and a ton of other people i have forgotten due to a heavy dose of allergy medication. hope to see all of you in the near future.
