i have been wanting to try it on my open gun, especially since its the same mount pattern as rts 2, and havent heard any problems with it till now. i know kolby uses one in open and has no issues. as far as the sight goes, i use it on a 45 on my cobalt rifle and it is amazing. made it through hard as hell no problems and a few local matches so far

i havent heard any complaints yet. only thing i hear about them not being awesome is from people who run those dumb sliderides....haha they say they are too big...? dumbdumbs

I got to look through a couple holosun 510c and am thinking of trying one out. Huge window and has the eotec reticle that you can use for steel. Which can be turned off if you want just a dot.

The only time i have had issues with mbx mags were with my pt grips. I had a chance to run the new style 9/38 sti mAgs when they first came out from a local shooter that got some to test. They worked well out of both the pt grip and the 2011 plastic grip

yeah a local guy had this one with 3k and he had a brand new one for 1800. i chose the 3k with eddie garcias magic paws having worked on it. and 600$ cheaper. i like these more than the dvc steel too. thanks for the advice. i think i am gonna toss it on and see how it works since my friend has one without grip adn i can side by side comparison. just wondering if anyone has ever done it. Also i have 2 open guns i supercomp so this will most likely never get used in uspsa and i wont try major loads through it Side question, anyone have experice loading cfe pistol in minor open? thanks again again

Wasssup guys. Just scored a sweet deal on an STI Steel Master. I was looking to get one for the local club non uspsa matches and steel matches and also for 3 gun open division. A local guy contacted me and offered me one for 1200$ that has only 3k rounds and has been tuned by the illustrious Eddie Garcia. Also came sporting an RTS2 and with one 140mag with grahams guts and dawson follower. so i am pretty happy with it. My question is this, i have am extra PT grip laying around from when I upgraded to the PT EVO and was thinking about putting on this gun. I am not shooting steel challenge with it, it will only be for 3 gun and uspsa style and tuesday night steel matches. What is everyones thoughts on doing this? thanks for any and all input Jon

Hey guys. Search came up with nothing. So if I missed it and am cloning a previous post please let me know i have a mpx carbine and have about 2000 124gn eggleston projectiles. Anyone have any experience with them through a pcc? Any load data with numbers would b sweet. Wanting to use these bullets but afraid to in open so figure try through the rifle. I have heard it done in 9major and that it works. My buddy said kc uses 147s. I use cfe pistol powder also if that changes anything

Anyone ever tried loading for supercomp with 147 gn bullets to make major. Just wondering cuz I got a few thousand laying around and having bad luck with my other bullets. Also anyone use polycoated (eggleston 124 gn) for open major with 38sc Search has been useless for me. Too much 9mm and nothing I saw on SC Thanks

I just got my open shotgun. Haven't had a chance to shoot it due to an Injury but this week I am feeling it will happen. It's a 21" Benelli m2 with xrail(26rd) and couple other mods. What ammo are u guys using? I am down to try a bunch of different ones but want to narrow it down while purchasing. I currently use federal cheap stuff in my 26" m2 set up for practical and Winchester hp deer slugs 1600fps with good luck. So I will try those. But let me know what u guys run. Thanks

My search results came up empty but I'm looking for load data using 115 grain Montana gold bullets and CFE pistol powder for major with a 38 Super comp Brazos gun. I know you have to make around 1480 ish fps. Is that going to be too much?

Hey guys , quick question. I have a Brazos pro series 38 super Comp open gun. I have been getting some floppidy bullets in my cardboard targets at area 2 this last weekend. Someone said it could be the bullets ( Berry's double plated 124 gn HP ) and so.e said barrel might b shot. Barrel has less then 7k through it but I don't know much about longevity and what not. Assuming I need a new barrel, what are people's opinion of nowlins? I picked up a nice gift certificate for one and if I can use that for a new barrel then cool. If not then I'll go a diff route. Thanks in advance. PS. Gun has a 5inch currently
