  4. Translation: Hello friends, I just acquired my Rusty Kidd .38 Super open gun from a pal that can no longer shoot due to medical issues. If you have a moment, I would like to ask some questions. Is it possible to run .38 super ammo that I can purchase from Sportsman or Atlantic Arms? I eventually plan on reloading but I need to acquire all the gear to do so first. Also, I have a batch of 9mm loaded up, Is it possible to use this in a pinch? We have a local USPSA Classifier match coming up in a couple weeks and would like to shoot it to get a classification status in USPSA. Thanks for your time, Merry Christmas & Semper Fi. Did i offend you by not using King James Version proper english? i am confused as to why u chose to paraphrase my post. A Thank you would be nice, just trying to make it easier for people to read. Merry Christmas merry christmas, wasnt sure if you were trolling haha. i spend a lot of time on gamer forums too. thanks though i appreciate it.
  5. thanks you thank you. so with the Mr Bullet Feeder, would i need a conversion kit from 9mm and 38 super? or can they run off same setup.
  6. haha you are a rebel good sir. thanks for your real answer to my question. the guy i purchased it from gave me springs from 7-12 lbs so i can prob figure out a happy medium. i prefer people that help. are there a lot of people on here that will do what alec did if i dont use proper grammer, punctuation and caps?

  8. thanks single stack. i am kind of leaning to the 650. not to sound cocky or anything but why is experience a factor on a 1050? i hear it a lot and i am one to learn quick. i mean i learned to drive on a stick shift :-) but am curious as to why the experience is a big factor.
  9. whats up peeps, just got my rusty kidd 38 super open gun this week off a buddy who doesnt shoot it anymore die to medical problems. some quick questions b4 i waste money and or look like an idiot at the range <would rather do it in front of you guys> i heard i can just run 38 super ammo that sportsmans has, or atlantic arms. (sportsmans is 130gr p+) i do plan on loading but i need to get all the stuff to do so first. we have a local uspsa match in 11 days and it has 6 classifiers, so i would like to try and get my letter for open. any input on this subject. also i read i can run 9mm out of it. is this true? just because i have about 2k 9mm rounds laying around and would love to just play with the open gun. thanks again my friends. merry christmas and semper fi
  10. thats deep. i like it, and half the comments on here haha
  11. hey guys. i apologize for probably bringing up this topic again but my search did not land me the answers i want and i figure this way i can get direct answers on a live thread.. i have never owned a loader, i have read and asked and loaded on peoples a lot in the past week and am going to buy a loader this weekend. it is between a 650 and 1050. i liked the fact that the 1050 seemed easier in the primer department. also i am in az so dillon is pretty close to me i will prob only load 9mm and 38 super and may move to super comp. i will prob only go through about 500 rds a month 9mm and maybe 1000 38 super. thats my estimate. i assume it will go up as i start having ammo because i will b able to practice more. i may decide to switch extractors and go super comp but thats in future. so i read that 1050 is just superior. i am one to prob forget to load ammo till the day of a match. but i hear 650 is pretty much the same speed. no matter what loader i get i will have a case and bullet feeder. so now the mumbo jumbo is over, here is the questions -if i am loading 9mm and 38 super can i use all of the same parts on the dillon and just have to change components on the ammo? - what parts are crucial to have for loading on a 650/1050 - which machine is more reliable? as of right now thats all i got for you guys. i know i will have more and have had more but i cant think of them right now. budget is not really an issue right now, but it seems for the same price i can have a 650 completely decked out and get some components to start loading, or a 1050 ready to roll no bullet feeder. thanks again for any input and sorry for prob bringing this up for its 10000th run. also anyone with a setup for sale please let me know. thanks jon merry christmas and semper fi
  12. Thanks boss. Gotta a Rusty Kidd build in .38 super. I tried to post a pic but wouldn't let me. Just take my word its sexy.
  13. whats up everyone. sort of new but sort of not. registered here a year or so ago. spent a lot of time reading, not so much posting. then i forgot my logins. so i am back as a new name. thanks for add and any help and id also like to apologize as well in advance for any noobness. second, merry christmas Real quick, i am almost 30. been shooting a lil bit now, started shooting 3 gun and uspsa as well as a local clubs combat league a little less then a year ago and i am hooked. sucked into the sport and love it. just shot my first open gun last thursday and by saturday had an open gun to call my own. now, as u may have guessed, i get to start loading. so that will probably be a topic of mine for a little but here. once again thanks for the add and look forward to picking some brains and gaining some knowlege, happy holidays
