  1. Yeah would have to be 9mm and 45 acp for sure. The last one is a toss up 44 mag or 357. I guess that would depend upon the scenario but since most of my stuff is in 357 if it all hit the fan tomorrow I would choose 357.
  2. The in-store experience must also keep a lot of people loyal to Dillon, at least from what I experienced. When I went there, I was greeted by a man named Tony who was as polite, respectful and nice as a person can be. He entertained all of my questions with total patience. I walked out of there with a tumbler, media separator, corn cob media, primer pickup tubes, primer flip tray. The rest, I'll order from Brian. Yeah I keep hearing that. Why does Dillon have to be so far away from Ohio?
  3. You are not the only one. Doesn't matter what I try, for 45 seems I keep coming back to the 230 gr RN. Plus they really give those steel plates a smack. Brings a smile to my face every time.
  4. Yeah I just have the one press and can't say I've ever really thought about it. Sounds like a great problem to have though haha.
  5. No but I have dropped the detent ball down there and that was a pain haha. That's why I keep a strong little magnet on a paper clip. Haha yeah but I have one or those low mass (aka cheap plastic balls). Almost ended up leaving it down there and switching back to the normal dillon ball.
  6. What are you guys using your sonic cleaners for mostly? Brass or cleaning hard to reach spots on firearms?
  7. Yeah I second that. Most of what I know came from the internet. Just be careful like always check and verify. That being said this and the highroad are two of the best forums on the net.
  8. No but I have dropped the detent ball down there and that was a pain haha.
  9. I missed that part of the description. If that is the case there is no way I am interested in those. If they are stating that right there on their website, I am willing to bet it happens more than just once in a while.
  10. Yeah I've never heard anything good about those SWC in a 1911. Nice round holes in the paper are great but just not worth the extra hassle to me. I've always got my RN loads to the point that if the lead isn't going where it is supposed to it has nothing to do with the recipe I'm using. Seen a lot of guys blow matches with ammo that doesn't feed right and can't say I've ever seen one blow a match because the ammo wasn't as absolutely accurate as it could be.
  11. Yeah I'll throw my name in that hat too. I would love to hear how the ceramic beads work out for ya. Run a couple loads and get back to us. Pics would be even better.
  12. Yeah at that point why just not tumble with the ss pins and be done with it? Most people I know that use corn cob or such dry methods do so to save a step or two. If the brass is already wet ya might as well build yourself a wet tumbler and be done with it.
  13. 9mm cases are not to be used in the Bulge Buster because they have a slightly tapered case and their rim is not completely flush with the case. 9mm Makarov Factory Crimp Die must be used for the 9mm Luger Bulge Buster will repair rimless cases when used with the Lee Factory Crimp Die The first bullet point says you can't use it with 9mm. Then the second one implies you can with a makarov die. I don't get it.
  14. Question for you guys. The lee bulge buster would you be able to use it on a 650? It always is shown on a single stage but I have some extra tool heads lying around and I can't see any reason it would not work.
  15. I think you might have better luck if you moved this to a different section on the forum.
  16. Will the lee bulge buster work on a tapered case like a 9mm? I was under the impression that it would not, but then I don't actually run the bulge buster.
  17. So just another primer as far as you are concerned?
  18. Huh I never knew this was a potential problem even. I got some old stuff laying around I might have to go test some of it. I always figured it would either split when it was loaded or you were good to go. Thanks for the info.
  19. Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the addiction haha.
  20. Huh is that something that is exclusive to reloads or will factory ammo do that over time as well?
  21. I really like that lee auto disk. I still have one on my 650 even though I catch a lot of crap for it. Never had a problem with it as long as I do my part. Great product really.
  22. Yeah I've been thinking of trying the 147 myself. I have some titegroup on hand anyone ever give that a try with the 147?
