  1. It's kinda my time where I can dissappear to the basement and everyone kinda leaves me alone. Leave the cell upstairs too, world seems to get along just fine without me haha.
  2. The best way I've found is just put it in your sidearm and pop the primer. Kinda sounds like a cap gun ya had as a kid. Or if I want the brass I have carefully decapped the primer and reused it. Though some people think it's dangerous I have never had a problem. Either way you can save the brass which is the whole point.
  3. Huh that is very interesting. Never knew this was a problem as I haven't encountered that one yet. This is a great site I learn something new every day. Thanks for the info guys keep it up.
  4. Yeah congrats. You will love your new purchase. Great way to make ammo, got to the point I almost enjoy the loading more than the shooting. Almost lol.
  5. Haha yeah that will keep you out of the cold for sure. I get a lot of loading done during those 3 miserable months. Congrats on your purchase.
  6. Yeah I can't imagine it would work that well in 45 ACP. Do yourself a favor and get some unique, bullseye, or red dot you'll like the load much better.
  7. Yeah tho I think most people are either in the ss pin camp or the old school walnut/corn cob thing for there brass. Not too many that use ultrasonic cleaning as far as I'm aware. For their firearms that is.
  8. Automatic Accuracy built Aussie SP-01 Shadow Arcteryx hat with "Death Mechanic" patch. Thanks man. The pic was kinda small and I was curious what you were running.
  9. Patrick, what is that in your profile pic there?
  10. I managed to score some hp 38 off of cabela's thanks to a member here as well. Great place with good people and info. Though I have since switched to using hp 39 for only my small caliber stuff and have went with more "common" powders for the rest of the stuff I shoot.
  11. Haha now there is a great way to look at it.
  12. Yeah that has gotta be quite a bit of fun. There is no way it isn't.
  13. My bad man. I just assumed brass as it was under the reloading section.
  14. Yeah I don't just throw live primers away. Pretty sure it's kinda illegal too. If I don't wanna de capped I'll just pop them off in a pistol then you're all good. Easiest way the make primers inert. About as illegal as throwing aerosol cans in the garbage, and none of us do that. Haha yeah good point.

  16. I would look at ss pins intead be a lot cheaper in the long run. Then build yourself a rotary tumbler or buy one from harbor freight. The pins last forever and all you need is dish soap and lemishine.
  17. I just ordered some xtremes. It will be my first time loading them. How do you like them vs Berrys or Rainiers? I can't comment on the Berrys or the Raniers as I have never loaded either one of those. With the xtremes though, I have got just as good of accuracy of anything that I've ever bought factory wise. That is more than good enough for me in a pistol. I don't shoot competition though, so it might make those guys more of a difference I don't know.
  18. I didn't know there was that much variance in hs6. I've never used the stuff but its good to know thanks.
  19. Yeah kinda backwards from what you would think would happen.
  20. Just so we are all clear its a lee loadmaster that you are loading on?
  21. I know the xtremes I use can be off by a couple grains sometimes but I never worried about it too much. Just chalked it up to slight differences in materials. I stay away from max loads so a couple a grains in a bullet doesn't worry me too much. I never understood pushing a cartridge so hard, if you need more power select a different cartridge. I like my fingers way too well.
  22. I'm with ya there. Especially all the good reviews I'm seeing about the stuff from Blue bullets, I think when it comes time to order again I'm gonna give them a try.
  23. That seems to be everyone's experience with blue bullets. I'm just gonna have to give them a try when I need to order again.
  24. That is a good way of looking at it. That load master I bought first before my 650 seems to be an even dumber move haha.
  25. I had a lee press for a bit could never get the thing to work right. Got fed up and bought a 650 and haven't had problems since. Plus Dillon has some of the best customer service I've ever seen.
