  1. Thanks I knew someone here would know right away.
  2. Sorry for the multiple posts. I didn't want to lose the resolution in the photos, and there is an upload limit.
  3. I recently acquired a second XL650 and sent it off to Dillon for a grease zerk install and to have it looked over as it was an early gen model that had been laying around for awhile by the look of it. Anyways when the press came back from Dillon, there was a part in the box that I did not ship out. As far as I can tell, this does not belong on a XL650. I could not see any markings on the part. Thought there is a chance it goes to one of Dillon's other machines, but I have no experience with those. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Josh Wilcox
  4. Yeah I use Lee FCD for my pistol stuff and have never been able to totally get rid of the brass shavings. The shavings are the worst with 9mm and the least with my 38 special with the 45 ACP being somewhere in between. Never have figured out why one caliber is worst than another although I haven't had any problems associated with the shavings in thousands of rounds so I just keep a brush by my 650. I am not a gamer tho and all my pistol stuff is just range ammo.
  5. Yeah I have done that. Happened the first couple times I wet tumbled. I just told my buddys I paid extra for the OD Green ammo haha.
  6. Yeah my glock 36 don't like real light loads like that. Up the powder some and I bet your problem goes away. Let us know what happens.
  7. Yeah it's gotten to unless the brass is free, I only order off of here when I find myself in need of brass. The members here are the best and all the brass I have bought here has been top notch.
  8. Oh that would have really pissed me off. Then again I'm not a cat person haha
  9. Yeah I got a pound of titegroup I have been meaning to try in 9mm, but have yet to do so. It has been on the shelf going on two years now.
  10. I have one I wanted to use for 38/357. I use Lee dies and it just won't work due to the short threads on Lee pistol dies. You can't put the nut on the underside of the tool head anymore with it.
  11. My experience as well, especially 38 special, have not had the same problem with 40 or 9. Yeah I got a whole bucket of nickel 38 special that just sits in the corner of the basement. Maybe I'll figure out a good use for them one of these days.
  12. Is that just a NJ thing? Does the state put a lot of restrictions on powder too?
  13. Anybody have any experience with these? I was thinking about buying one but would love to hear some reviews first. All the reviews I can seem to find are from the company or the initial write ups from shot show. As always, thanks in advance for your advice.
  14. First I have seen it actually. Although I can't see how it would actually save much time. Then again I don't have the auto drive and all the fancy gadgets for speed some of those on here do. I think a bullet feeder will be the next improvement for my 650 and Ill keep saving for that.
  15. Wow you have alot more patience then I could ever dream of.
  16. Yeah call Dillon they are the best customer service I think I have ever come across.
  17. Yeah your easiest option is to swap primer brands and see. I have one 686 that won't always set off CCI in double action, but always sets them off in single. The snub nosed 686 I have doesn't mind them tho. Switched to Winchester and the problem totally went away.
  18. Yeah prices are coming back down in my area. I can get primers cheap too. WSP are 28 a thousand out the door here in SW Ohio.
  19. Thanks for the replies. Market seems to be changing pretty quick on powder trying to get a new baseline. I scored a 8lb of 231 for $145 out the door.
  20. I love it in 38 special and have been really tempted to try it in 45. I use red dot currently, but would be nice to double down on a powder for both.
  21. What's the typical price for 231 (8lb jug) locally? Nice to see things available again.
