  1. with those numbers i wouldn't be surprised if somebody has already been in that gun. We've done a few of them and i havent seen one yet in stock form with a sub 9.5lb DA and 4.5lb SA. As for parts i would set your guns up identical..... The xtreme as mentioned above comes with xtreme springs, and all the xtreme parts installed. Everything still needs polishing, and of course a Titan/BOLO combo woudlnt hurt
  2. we'll take a look at it when it makes it back to the shop.....
  3. Thats half of the issue we've seen.... The leading edge that the lip of the grip engages is another big problem we've seen. I just hate grips that constantly loosen up during use unless you use some kind of thread lock....
  4. We stock guns, and offer a discounted tuning package for folks who purchase everything through us at once...... Everybody has different needs and wants on there guns to offer just one setup.
  5. This is the main reason we haven't released our grips yet..... If we could get more consistent machining tolerances from Tanfo i think we would have more grip options out there.....
  6. Get your chamber reamed and if your gun is tuned properly it will eat what ever you feed it...... 14lb spring will be your your best bet for running factory ammo. Talk to JJ about our BOLO's as he carries them now, unless he's hoarding them all in the back.
  7. Your never going to be done buying parts.... especially when you see what we're rolling out in 2017
  8. Well we cant let down the streets now can we......
  9. These guys have you headed in the right direction..... for the additional cost the Xtreme unfortunately isn't worth the money.
  10. it just aides in fine tuning everything, you'll loose a bit off the trigger pull as well......
  11. Links are for picture references for the OP EAA / Tanfoglio Witness Extended Single Side Safety- http://patriotdefense.com/product/eaa-tanfoglio-witness-standard-single-side-safety/ EAA / Tanfoglio Witness Single Side Safety (14.1)- http://patriotdefense.com/product/eaa-tanfoglio-witness-single-side-safety-14-1/ Basically the extended single side safety is equivalent to what comes on your Stock II or Stock III...... just single sided.
  12. Wes, that's a good question. Haven't really tested that yet but based off the height increase in the "pencil" test I would expect being able to come down some on the hammer spring weight if your gun is 100% as it sits now. The new pin will really help out with those guys having the occasional light strike and not wanting to go up in their spring weight.
  13. Just put a back up generator at the house for extra power so i can run all the extra computers i have to model up parts for these guns!!! PATRIOT DEFENSE - PRECISION GUNS SPRINGS
  14. It'll work with the stock FPB as long as the gun is left stock, and of course if you swap out the sear and what not you'll need the Extended FPB. This firing pin will function and work with all safety's built into the gun.
  15. As seen in the photos it doesn't move freely? It looks like everything is in correctly.... does your plunger move up and down freely if you push on it?
  16. Finishing up mill work on them now and they'll be headed to heat treat. Changed the material OD a bit because i didn't like the finish the surface ground material was giving us on the largest OD......Being OCD sucks sometime
  17. Yup...I'm lost..... Wes- Either way the Xtreme sear and factory are both identical as far as dimensions are concerned. As stated above the Xtreme sear does come with a more natural finish (for a cast part) but is far from being drop-in if you want the most out of it. Regardless it sounds like your setup is working fine for you as of now and i see no reason for you to change what you have.
  18. Seems like somebody needs to look into an Optimized Recoil Spring ?
  19. This can be avoided by heating the part up.... use slow RPM's and be patient with your polishing, allow your product to cool if needed and try not to produce to much heat. Honestly the only parts you should worry about is your hammer hook area and Sear face....
  20. The Xtreme trigger bar plunger assembly is no different than the factory besides the finish..... it does not come with a lighter/reduced spring.
  21. It helps giving a little more info..... what was your split on your shots? have you been able to maintain a tight two shot group before? What PF ammo are you running? Did you eat Wheaties before going out shooting?
  22. Ive got a few ideas now that could save upwards of 1 OZ that would require just two easy parts changed out...... we shall see
