Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I don't think a little pre travel in a pistol is a bad thing as long as its nice and light.
  2. Thanks for the explanation. JJ also said the customer wanted a little more pretravel than most.
  3. Seems like you got a good deal. I love the look of the extreme.
  4. It definitely sounds like this is the way to go. Thank you.
  5. Yeah he has them. he was actually fitting one for a customers Xtreme when I was there last. Ill definitely be using your thread once I pick one up but i think I'm going to wait until after the holidays. Funny you say that I checked GB last night there were a few. there was an Xtreme for 1375 buy it now also.
  6. Is there any certain factory Ammo that they notoriously like or don't like?
  7. Nice gentleman thanks for all the help. Now I just have to find a basic stock 2 somewhere. I think the store that has the xtreme can order me one. It is JJ racaza's shop after all.
  8. Nice thanks for all the quick feedback. My wallet likes this route better too. Why would you want the extreme for ipsc can you make less modifications?
  9. I'm in the US and will be shooting uspsa production. Does the Xtreme line have anything else to offer other that a better trigger that still needs work and more mags? From what I hear the mags are pretty cheap for tanfos.
  10. I have been pretty back and forth about stock 2 vs stock 3 vs CZ shadow 2 vs the Xtreme version of both tanfos. I have been shooting a plastic gun and want to move to all steel like many people, I was thinking about holding out for the shadow 2 but just got the chance to hold both tanfo xtreme models and I REALLY liked the feel of the stock 2 Xtreme. My LGS had it for 1750 so same price as most online stores. I feel I've made up my mind on the stock 2 because of the size and feel in hand the stock 3 was just a l little to big and heavy to be comfy for me and from what I hear the shadow 2 closely mimics the size of the stock 2 (if this is wrong please chime in). So I think the real question is, is it worth it to get the Xtreme over the basic stock 2. The trigger on the Xtreme still feel like it could use some help ( my CGW p09 is a little better) but other than that is seemed good to go. How much do you end up putting into a stock 2 basic to get it "Production ready" and after buying mags and base plates should you just go Xtreme? BTW I like the color of the Xtreme more. Also I want to add that I do not load my own ammo although I do plan to eventually. How are they with factory ammo?
  11. Just what I wanted to hear. Thank you
  12. This may not be the perfect place for this question but it didn't seem like it needs its own thread. If you run a da/sa like this or a p 09 with safety in uspsa production do you have to use the safety? I know that it has to be fully decocked but do you as NEED to engage the safety before reholstering?
