  1. 9X45 Is probably onto something. A barrel should shoot plenty well for a 100,000 rounds. I would take a look at the locking block first.
  2. Will shootersconnection or Jager ship to canada? Those are the two places I have ordered them from
  3. You can, but for a gen 4 Jager rod is the way to go. As far As I know he is the only one making them with a Larger end like the stock gen 4 rods.
  4. Shooters connection has great prices on them. Use the enos discount and buy atleast 3 they are less than 5 bucks each.

A lot to be said about not making changes unless you have a good reason. I agree a 100% on starting with just changing sights and putting in a 3.5 connector. In production I don't really ever see the need to change barrels factory glocks can shoot into 2.5" or so at 25 yards.
  6. Ranger if your gun is a newer one check out the Apex extractor.. it will likely cure your problem.
  7. I was born too late in 1990 to shoot any that season... I have shot Production and Limited only since starting USPSA this year (shoot both with my Glock 34) I have no interest in this class as it seems like we have enough divisions and the way they made the rules exclude heavy guns rubs me the wrong way. Also a "carry" class with downloaded mags.
  8. Mill creek has a nice club. Desoto will have a decent commute. Local matches are Pioneer or Kearney practice matches on Tuesday nights. Bullet hole indoor match on Fridays. and Topeka, Pioneer outdoor, Millcreek, Higginsville and Lamar for weekend matches within 2 hours drive. Here is a link to Bullet hole practical shooting club that list all the local shoots. http://www.bhpsc.us/wordpress/?page_id=1093
  9. Only thing I have to add is that my 17 did not like a 13 with the factory striker spring but it ran fine in my 34 with the factory striker spring. I am using ISMI flat 13 springs on the Jager rod for Gen4 guns.

Barrel isnt needed. I have tried a few triggers and settled on a polished bar gen 4 bar, Jager striker (4lb spring) stock trigger spring, over travel stop in housing and a vanek safety plunger with light spring. I also really like the Zev trigger but it isnt legal in production but would be in limited. Dawson makes great sights but I really like the TTI sights also. as for the griptape sometimes I buy cut tape and sometimes I make it out of stair thread tape, either works. Also you will probably wont to change the recoild spring, the Jager guiderod and ISMI spring in 13-15lbs is about the best way to go. I use a 13 but my old 17 wouldn't run a 13 without a lighted striker spring.
  11. Something to note also. I used the 140mm at full length to start with and they always functioned fine until I shot limited and loaded to full capacity. the springs were twisting or something and cause the follower to bind after feeding 2-3 rounds.
  12. Come on BSComp giving these guys a hard time.. I could have swore you were trying to switch to an 2011 open gun I would personally like to try a frame weighted glock.. My only question is does it cause issues on the 40s? I have read about weapon lights increasing the slide speed on the older gen 3 guns.
  13. If they ship it with a spring it may be different weights
  14. I am using ISMI 140mm springs with a couple coils clipped off in the TTI small basepads.
  15. I have the BOSS and its great, I have also looked at the springer mount a couple guys are running in this area. You cant go wrong with either.
  16. I use the TTI base pads the +4 for 9mm. an added benefit is you can use them to shoot limited minor if you want.
  17. My 17 wouldnt run with a 13 and stock firing pin spring, My 34 will. Both are Gen 4s. I would order a 13 and a 15 and see which one works best for you.
  18. Needed: Sights I like TTI Guide rod Jager Use a 13 or 15 pound ISMI spring Griptape My 17 didnt like a 13 with stock striker spring, 34 runs fine with the stock striker spring and 13. Buy one of both and see which works.
  19. I have the racers for production with a glock 34. But I think I would buy the race masters if I could place the mags forward of the hip like limited. If you dont get the glock spacers Email DAA and they will send them to you.
  20. Have any of you noticed the newer glocks finish wears a lot faster? I got a new 34 a couple months ago and it is missing more finish than my 17 that I got 3 years ago.
  21. My 34 felt the best with a glock -. how ever with the same Vanek kit my 17 felt better with the Dot connector.

    4# Striker spring

I got light strikes on winchester primers using the stock striker with a #4 wolf. I added a jager striker and had a couple light strikes with some CCI primers. I am now using S&B primers and have not had any light strikes in 400 rounds last weekend.
  23. 13lb or 15lb ISMI (buy both and see what feels the best) with a stainless guide rod. if gen 4 get a Jager rod. Also make sure the wife is holding the slide and pushing the grip it will make it easier for her.
  24. Get the Boss holster from benstoegerproshop.com It is worth the extra 35 dollars! and I say that after spending 60 to get he hanger and thumb screws for my holster. I have a DAA belt and Racer pouches. I emailed DAA and they sent me the needed Glock spacers free of charge. Also get 5 pouches. I don't think I have went for the 5th one yet but you never know when you might need it to let you do reloads where they best fit the stage.
  25. I have been using a heine 320R rear with a dawson .105x.225 fiber front on my 17 for a couple years now, it make a good combo. (I think the 34 will require a slightly taller front) If you have your sight to the edge of the slide it may be an issue with your technique. have you had another good shooter check to see?
