  1. Matchbook is out and it looks like a good time. Can't wait to get to Florida.
  2. Curious if anyone has experimented with the Springer pads on the Mec Gar .40 mags? Their extended mags hold 15, wondering if you can squeeze another 1 or 2 extra with the Springer pads. I know it's a pipe dream to get enough rounds into a 96 for a decent Limited blaster, but maybe someone has played around with this?
  3. I had a G17 that shot 8” left at 20 yds. I had plenty of other Glocks in my safe and never had the issue before. A couple other people shot it with the same results, so I began experimenting with different parts to correct it. I quickly discovered that is was in the upper, as swapping other uppers onto the G17 frame resulted in perfect hits. It got weird when I swapped barrels and slides. The slide worked great with other barrels, and the barrel worked great with other slides, but putting the two together, on any frame, resulted in the way left hits. Ultimately I didn’t want to spend any
  4. Rumor on the Beretta Forum is MSRP of $1399...
  5. Yep. Anything for the Vertec, M9A1, or M9A3 will work. I’m partial to Blade Tech.
  6. Great club, great people, great matches. Sure miss you guys. Excluding our deployed servicemen and women, I might be the the longest distance active member of WSSA. Phil
  7. I couldn’t call shots well with irons at all, until after I spent time running a dot gun. Everything just opened up for me and I started seeing stuff I had never seen before. I was worried if I could carry that new vision back to iron sight shooting, and I did have a real hard time transitioning back, because I was looking at the target and missing the sights. Then I swung too far the other direction and was so dialed into the front sight, I was slowing down. Things started clicking again and I realized just how much my whole visual perception had changed for the better after the dot time.
  8. I noticed that when these are dropped with rounds in them, they tend to kick the top round out of the mag. Not a huge deal, but odd nonetheless. Otherwise they work fine.
  9. I have the same issue with the EGW and 147 gr bullets not dropping in. How do they fit in the Hundo? Not hearing any complaints so I assume it works well with any bullet weight and profile?
  10. Can't go wrong either way! I prefer the long dust cover on the Edge. Just looks and balances better, in my opinion.
  11. Exactly what he said. One Major load for everything, and it only varies if for some reason I can't get something. I have a hot minor load that I only use for steel matches, but otherwise all my practice and matches are with the same load. Consistency and no worries about functioning or the chrono go a long way on match day.
  12. There is a strong possibility that I could be relocating to the Kansas City area next year for work. We are researching places to live and places to shoot. My company's office is in Overland Park, so we're looking in that general vicinity. We don't want to live in the city or even the suburbs, preferring something as rural as possible, within a reasonable commute distance. A good shooting location nearby is extremely important. A quick browse indicates there are plenty of matches in the KC area, but I'm looking for recommendations on home clubs...where do you practice and go shoot just fo
  13. Aftec. Fit it and forget it.
