This is what I found. I also did the 50yrd zero and found I was having difficulty at the 200-250yrd range. I finally got out to refine my zero at 200 yrds and found it was 2.5MOA high. Once i got a true 200yrd zero, everything else fell into place. I had very little trouble with the long range stuff at last weeks SMM3G match and this was shooting 55gr FMJ American Eagle ammo.

I am in the Odin Works barrel camp. I currently run their 18" 3gun rifle barrel. I get subMOA at 100yrds with 55gr American Eagle ammo. I have been greatly impressed with the accuracy of this barrel. Yes it's a heavy barrel but I honestly do not notice the weight when the time starts.

I currently run aluminum cased Blazer 180's in my Atlas Nemesis. 166.5 PF at this last Area 2. Very soft shooting and ran without issues.

Check out the mag tuning videos from Atlas Gunworks. Pay particular attention to the one tuning the transition from double stack to single stack. This area being too wide can induce the issues with the rounds being to loose.

I carry an Atlas Titan Operator on duty. 126mm in the gun and 3 140's as spares. I have had no issues with any of them other than only the 126 locks back reliably. Feeding they have been flawless. New Gen STI followers, Atlas xtra power mag springs, and TTI base pads.

Yes, that is the one I have unless they released a new one in the last month. I was mistaken about the LRBHO for the bolt, it says that for the SS SCS. I have the Quentin Defense ARQ 9mm receiver set that I am running it in. I'm not really concerned with LRBHO. I am more concerned that they advertise the SS Bolt and SS SCS buffer as working together and they do not for me. A 31 round Glock mag with a TTI +10 extension will absolutely not feed until 10 rds are gone. I put in the X buffer and it runs like a sewing machine. The biggest heartburn I have over the whole situation is that JP has not responded in a month to the two emails I have sent with questions about this issue. My work schedule and being on AZ time makes it almost impossible to call them.

I run the JP short stroke bolt and LRBHO does not work and JP states this on their website. It will manually lock back though, so no problem there. To answer your other question, I tried pairing it with JP's SCS short stroke buffer and it was a no go. It would not reset my trigger and would not feed. I currently have an X buffer at 7.5oz and a regular carbine spring and it just runs and runs.

No and no. As long as you have two hits in a scoring area, the hits in hard cover no longer matter. They are only counted as misses if you do not make up the shots. Same goes for steel. You can take as many shots as needed to knock them over. The extra shots do not count as misses.

Yes, it is image. Those of us that carry 1911/2011s still once in awhile get the random citizen pointing out that the hammer is back on our gun. My usual response is "It wouldn't work if it wasn't."

Why not? SA guns are useless unless cocked. That is the proper way to carry a SA pistol and is no more dangerous than any other. You do realize a Glock is also carried "cocked?" You just can't see because it is an internal striker versus an external hammer.

I actually was able to get to the range and play with that today. The factory setting on the Elf trigger is the adjustment screw sitting flush. I did not weigh it so no idea what the weight is. I turned it one-half turn to higher weight, so now it is just a little below flush. The rifle now functions with the heavier X bolt. Trying the SCS short stroke buffer and it just will not feed with that buffer/bolt combo. It just appears to be stroked way too short with both as the rearward travel is very noticeably short.

It looks like a Hornady HAP projectile.

I am the most proficient with a 1911/2011 because I get the most trigger time on it, not because of the gun. I carried a Glock for 21 years prior and was very proficient with it. I just prefer the 1911/2011. We pay for anything we want to carry outside of department issue. My department only issues Glocks.

Another update Tested a X bolt that weighed in at 7.5oz and it was a no go, hammer was following in the ELF trigger. This was with the standard carbine spring. It's appearing to me that the JP short stroke bolt really likes a light buffer system.

I made the decision to carry a 2011 for a very simple reason, I compete. I compete with 2011s and 1911s and I shoot those style pistols and triggers the most. I do not shoot a Glock as well as I do the 1911 platform. I did not want to go back and forth between two very different triggers and grip angles when my life or yours might depend on it. Sure an Atlas is expensive but mine has been just as reliable as any of the Glocks I have carried. It's a small price to pay to deploy a weapon system that I am the most proficient with.

I’m using the Springfield holster with a TLR-1HL light on the gun. Only modification I had to make was to relieve an area for the mag release.

It’s the aluminum grip with the rubberized grip tape. I’m very happy with it.

This is why I am the only one in a department of 750 sworn that carries a 2011. Adam also knew what duty ammo I would be using and tested my pistol much more extensively than he normally does. If it wasn't for that, I would still be carrying my G17.

I carry an Atlas Titan Operator on duty. I also use it in 3gun matches and that has confirmed its reliability for me, flawless. I would not trust an STI for duty use.

I would recommend looking at that. I ran this PCC yesterday in a 156rd Level 1 match and it was flawless without a single malfunction. The Efl trigger was awesome.

I did some more testing yesterday and today. Yesterday I was using new Glcok 31rd mags with TTI +10 extensions with the milspec trigger group in. It absolutely would not feed the first 10 rds but then would run fine after. It would slam the round into the bottom of the barrel, locking everything up and causing severe setback of the projectile. Thinking the mass of the buffer and the bolt was too heavy and dragging, they weighed just a touch over 22oz together, I swapped out the buffer. I used what I had on hand, an H3 buffer, carbine spring, and quarters. It ran and those Glock mags fed perfectly. Put the Elftmann trigger back in and it ran as it should too. Was not ideal, horrendous dot bounce but it proved my theory of too heavy was correct. In the end, the Elftmann trigger does work. But it will not work correctly if the buffer is too heavy and that of course lead to an additional feeding problem. I'll be contacting JP on Monday and swapping out this heavy, short stroke SCS buffer for a lighter one. Hopefully this helps someone else out that is experiencing the same sort of issues. One thing I forgot to mention is the ammo I was using. I was using 124gr Speer Lawman and 124gr Speer Gold Dot +P ammo. Both had the same failures.
