  1. Sorry after a bunch of fidgetting it finally works.
  2. Hi All, just wondering if there's any help that can be provided. I've never disassembled past just a field strip, but of course I start to see a bunch of carbon buildup, and figured I need to learn to maintain my gun well. I used a video to disassemble it, but didn't take pictures or mental snapshots of everything of course, so having a grand of a time putting it back together. Want to make sure I put the sear cage back together correctly. The hammer and disconnector(i think? I'm using CZ's illustration to identify parts) hooks into the trigger bar, and not sure until the sear cage is actually installed back is the disconnector suppose to just be able to freely move around like that. I'm also having a hard time getting the sear cage back into where it's suppose to go as well, as nothing seems to fit well like normally pieces do. Pretty sure the safety pieces are installed correctly as well, but my main concern is still getting the sear cage installed so I can function check rest of gun. https://imgur.com/a/5G0oBDF This gives pictures of them. Any help is appreciated thanks.
  3. Hello, While cleaning my Shadow 2, I took out the extractor pin, but while putting it back in with a roll pin, i marred it pretty good. I'm hoping it doesn't cause function problems, won't know until I can take it out again. However, worst case is I replace it, but hard to find specific shadow 2 extractor pins, but SP-01 shadows come up quite a bit. Just wondering if they're interchangeable. Also, besides roll pins, is there a better method to getting that pin back in? It's not going in with light taps so I need something, maybe specific types of pins? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
  4. Thanks all, seems to be working ok now. Not sure if it's meant to do it, I've backed it off a bit, and it kind of snaps it in place, not intensely or anything but it def gets it indexed correctly.
  5. Hello forum, I'm relatively new with the dillon 650, first 2000 rounds or so loads fine, but of course comes maintenance. I've managed to learn most of the machine, but there's one part I can't figure out yet. It's the station 1 piece that slides the shell into place as you're pushing the lever forward. I've tried to make minor adjustments to it, but it still usually leaves the shell not in full position, so i have to tap the case slide part. I've noticed it's only when I've already got a full shellplate, the first few shells work fine, but once I rounds on station 5 it starts doing this. Any tips how to properly adjust this is helpful. Sorry for the noob question.
  6. Funny enough, I just read an article: http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2014/06/foghorn/3-gun-tip-dont-use-sights/ Maybe I'll try this, the mlok is a straight line, I'll test it out before an actual match then I can determine if I even need the irons or the lever. Thanks for your responses.
  7. Been lurking quite some time, but now getting into posting. Been shooting USPSA for a few months now, looking to get into 3 gun next! Hi All!
  8. Correct it is. For my local matches it's likely not a big deal for me, however, I'm just planning if I wanted both in case I needed to go 4x for further targets, and engage close targets as well.
  9. Hello, new to the forum and also 3 gun. My close buddy sold me his just about ready 3 gun AR because he can't partake for physical reasons. The only thing I want to do to it is add canted iron sights for close targets, but not even sure what's the best way to add them to this. It's a carbon fiber rail which looks to have mlok on the sides. From research, only thing I can put together is a slanted Picatinny for the front sight, and then a Mlok to picatinny rail section, and then add just a normal regular picatinny front sight. The other option is skip the mlok to picatinny rail, and just get a front sight that attaches via mlok via knights arnament via this: (ONLY one I've found that does Mlok iron sights. https://www.knightarmco.com/12643/shop/control-accessories/m-lok-micro-front-sight Am I right in my options or has anyone ever had experience with this? Thank you. Here's pictures of the gun to assist.
