  1. I'll do a basic clean before each major match. Making sure to have at least 1 range session on it before the match. I'll do a complete detail on them each year when replacing stuff. I did this when I ran Shadows and Shadow 2s and now with my p320s. As I'm playing some more with my 1911s right now I'm finding they do seem to run a little better clean compared to my production/CO guns. They run a little sluggish after a few thousand rounds.
  2. lol I'd be willing to bet people who own those extensions and people who own a USPSA mag gauge are not the same people.
  3. I've seen it done just to run someone's actual carry gun in a match. 48 is my carry gun, but I wouldn't want to shoot it full time as a competition gun. The grip is still too small to shoot a lot comfortably vs a full size gun.
  4. That's pretty neat. I may have to play with that when I get my 3D printer setup.
  5. Will + or - ~2 rounds really make the difference? Various CO guns hold between 22-24. Doesn't really seem to be the deciding factor in gun choice.
  6. Yep. Should just be whatever the factory mag holds and fits in the box.
  7. Whatever falls out of vogue will just slowly die of neglect. I don't see the org ever removing anything no matter how few participate.
  8. It is. Some clubs just aren't super creative when designing stages. Rulebook says you can make someone shoot 8 from a position so that's what's gonna happen.
  9. Which is why some of the other changes should be addressed before doing that. I agree if you just plop down Prod 15 on the current ruleset it's very close to just being Lim minor.
  10. Then it'll just be a continued slow erosion of division lines.
  11. I think Prod/CO need to move back to having a more reasonable weight limit. Then maybe consider making both of them 15 round divisions.
  12. That sounds super cool. We'll have to check that out when we hopefully get back up there next summer for the KY Sectional match.
  13. https://benstoegerproshop.com/glock-mos-leupold-deltapoint-pro-adapter-plate-v3-by-chpws/ Nvm. It doesn't show out of stock until you try to add it to cart.

    Mag Pouches

I'm using the Ghost 360s that I've had on my Production rig for years across several guns. They work fine for Prod mags only loaded to 10, but I'm shopping for something new for 140mm CO mags. Several of the DAA models, CR Speed, and Guga Ribas alll seem like good options for hicap mags. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  15. I'd say get a 34mos or a new 48 MOS. That's likely what I'll get with the cert I'll get from our state match in a few weeks. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  16. I agree. I was against it at first too, but hicap minor only is fun. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  17. Yeah contacting is probably the best bet. All the different Sig cuts are confusing. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  18. https://shop.springerprecision.com/Springer-Precision-P320-X5-RTS2-ROMEO3-Razor-adapter-plate-SP0226.htm I think this is the plate you need for Non Legion X5s Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  19. It's my understanding that the Romeo 1 Pro uses the Leupold DPP pattern. The Romeo 3 Max uses the CMore RTS2 pattern. I'm using a Springer Precision plate with my Romeo 3 max and X5 Legion. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  20. The last time our club hosted our state match was in 2016. We are hosting it again next month. Attached are the division breakdowns for the matches. Interesting to see the Prod to CO shift in 4 years.
  21. I think at the very least USPSA missed an opportunity to try out 15rd CO during the provisional period and potentially make a case for 15rd Prod. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  22. When comparing CO and Prod it's not just an irons vs optics comparison so looking at match results likely will not provide any sort of conclusive data. When comparing those two divisions you also have to take into account 140mm mags vs 10 rd, which leads to different stage planning and how aggressive/conservative you shoot certain stages/arrays. This year's Factory Gun Nationals may give you some idea of what you're looking for since it's going to be a Production & Carry Optics only match. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  23. I like the Hennings. I used his stuff on other platforms and liked it so did the same when I got my Legion. I'll be curious if Zev makes a basepad soon now that they released some 320 models. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
