  1. Nice. I may grab one as well. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  2. I've looked around and haven't found anyone making a plate for the Romeo 3 Max. I'd be interested in finding one as I have 2 of those for my Legions and wouldn't mind being able to use on my 34 also. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  3. I like the GrayGuns trigger kit over the stock Legion trigger, but it's marginal. It's mostly just a better reset. I really like the Springer Precision paddle mag release. I tested out a tungsten guide rod and for the life of me couldn't tell a difference so it definitely wasn't worth the $100+. I also did a silicone carbide grip job and it makes a world of difference in grip in hot areas. It isn't terribly hard to do yourself, but there are guys doing really nice jobs for reasonable prices. I'm also using a Springer Precision plate for the Romeo 3 Max dot. No plans to change anything else right now. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  4. So you're logging in, going to your classification record, and then clicking the little calculator button/icon? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  5. Not sure that site gets updated anymore. Just use the classifier calculator on the USPSA website. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  6. I see what you're talking about on the website now. Not sure what that is. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  7. Or are you looking on the website? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  8. Can you post a screen shot or give the name of the match so I can look at it in the app? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  9. If I was going back to a Shadow 2 I'd definitely just look for the factory OR version. I had a Shadow 2 slide milled by CZC and wouldn't go that route again. With basically all the factory optic ready options being available/legal under the rules there's really no reason to have something custom milled anymore. The only reason to do it before was because USPSA rules forced it to be able to use some guns. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  10. X5 Legion with a Sig Romeo 3 Max 6moa Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  11. GrayGuns trigger, Springer paddle mag release, and my homebrew silicone carbide grip job. Seems good to go.
  12. As others have said scale back a bit during the match. Take advantage of your 5 min walkthrough before the stage starts. If possible don't do anything when you're a few shooters from your turn. Walking stages morning of is dependent on the match. My club builds all the stages the weekend before and the only thing done morning of is staple targets and put out steel. There's usually plenty of time for most people to check out stages before we get started if they want. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  13. Over the last few years shooting CZs I'd basically only clean mine a few times a year, usually before a major match. If I had some sort of issue at practice I might also clean it, most commonly a really gunky extractor channel. This is shooting 15-20k rounds a year. When I first started owning guns I too would clean them after every range trip. This was drilled into me by my Grandpa growing up. Not that big a deal when you only shoot a few times a year. Once I started competing seriously that went out the window. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  14. Personally I don't think a single stack gun with a dot would be all that competitive against stuff with double stack 140mm mags. That's beside the point that I don't think USPSA needs to have a division where every single gun/configuration is "competitive". Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  15. No one is stopping you from shooting a 1911 w/ a dot in Open. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  16. I think you are starting off with the flawed assumption that heavier guns are "better" in Production. Nobody that puts in the work is held back by a Glock, Sig, or whatever in Prod. The same is true for CO. You kinda just have to pick what works for you and practice. You likely see more Glocks and Sigs in CO right now b/c they are producing guns out of the box that are ready for an optic. You needed to have a CZ or Tanfo milled and lightened. Until the recent uspsa weight changes CZ wasn't even bothering importing their OR Shadow 2 into the US. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

  18. 2018 was the 9 days of Nationals where everything was back to back to back. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  19. So that's something fairly easy to go lookup. At the 2018 Limited Nationals, Ashely finished 45th. She was high Lady and the highest finishing person shooting minor. She shot 74.40%of the match winner. https://uspsa.org/match-results-details?index=28835&division=Limited&guntype=Pistol It appears she mostly shoots Carry Optics now. 20. It all depends on what you want to do. Everything else being equal you'll always be at a disadvantage to someone shooting Major. A large chunk of people who shoot just club matches shoot Limited minor. Our club is the same and most of those people aren't even uspsa members. They're just gun club members and like the match. If you ever want to shoot bigger matches and be competition in your class you basically have to shoot major. The scoring advantage for Limited is just too much to over come. If all you want to do is have fun at club matches and shoot your Shadow 2 there's nothing wrong with minor in Limited. You could also consider setting it up for a dot and running in Carry Optics. 21. 140mm mags are good. Magwell is a no go. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  22. I'm only aware of a handful at the major matches I've attended over the last 5 years. I think most were fairly mundane. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  23. I think it'll somewhat depend on which instructor you get. I dont recall doing very much with arbitrations in mine 2 years ago. We paired off and each had an arb scenario in the workbook that we had to resolve and then explain. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  24. It's mostly about stage design and debugging a stage. Some bits of gray areas of the rulebook. How to manage a stage at a major. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  25. I like the Hennings. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
