    I can't say

Say, So, is this thread ever going to go anywhere? Or simply circle around the word "Say"?
  2. You would care if it was some kid you knew.
  3. That is about right. While I was recruiting, I would always try to get them to apply to ROTC also; same commission, a lot less BS, and you don't need a congressional appointment.
  4. I don't have anything nice to say, so I won't.
  5. I will be thinking of this one all day, thanks! LOL...that reminds me of a story my Father In Law tells about growning up in Upstate New York.He had an uncle that had a goat greased during deer season,in his front yard,by some fellas that had come up from NYC.His uncle was determined not to let that happen again,so every season from then on,he put brightly colored coats on them.Yes,there is/was such a thing as goat coats.Which is why our opening weekend deer camp toast is "HERE'S TO GOAT COATS!"-Mike We had an Old farmer back home that used to spray paint a his cows with a big hunter orange X on both sides right before deer hunting each year. He said the reason he did it, was that many years back, he came up on two "city" guys trying to load up one of his steers into their truck after they had shot it. They must have thought the deer in Northern MN run big.
  6. Right or wrong, I rest my forearms on the bags. The pistol doesn't touch the bags at all.

    Mythbusters

but, but , but Kari is hot. Yes the show has slipped. My personal low point was when they "proved that an arrow could not be shot to split a second arrow. AKA Robbin Hood myth" Then I turned the channel to the history channel and in the extreme marksman episode Byron Ferguson split an arrow for all to see. I just have to remind myself it is entertainment, and Kari is Hot.
  8. Word of advise, While dating and well in to the second year of marriage, no belch or fart of any kind. 12 years later, holy crap she is just as bad as I am. Judging on that, if she is belching before the ring, well....
  9. That was disgusting behavior from the trooper. He clearly caused the situation to escalate. The tropper was either so mad he didn't hear the EMT's and family tell him numerous times that a patient was on board and they needed to resolve this at the hospital or the tropper didn't care.
  10. It is just a matter of grip. You get used to firing without the comp and then add a comp; of course the sights will dip. Shoot that thing for a few hundred rounds and you will be on target.
  11. Quite possibly Maybe. Here is a pearl of insight into this. Subsidizing dealerships at a loss just to have "shelf space" at large auto malls is not a viable option for an automaker like GM. I'd like to say this wont happen again, but it will. Maybe not with the auto industry, but with another. Ford doesn't seem to have this problem; what is different about Ford that GM and Chrysler have in common? Never mind, we can't talk about that here.
  12. +1 Jasmap, This USPSA stuff has to be as addictive as crack!
  13. First I have heard of that, hope it meets the standard that NCIS set. NCIS is good stuff, but there can be only one Abby.
  14. That is also my sight picture.
  15. Did you shoot 75% of the stage winner or 75% on the classifier calculator website? Either way it sounds like you're off to a great start! R, not really sure it just said 75.xx% on the local match results. whats the difference? 75% of the match winner is just that. You scored 75% of the guy that won on your stage at your range in your class. 75% on the classifier calculator tells you how you stand on the national level in your division on that stage. Either way great job, and keep on shooting.
  16. I recently saw a post that the shooter prefers the six o'clock sight picture. I don't understand this, it seems to me that the Point of Aim is the most accurate sight picture. Please give me the "pros" to the six o'clock hold for our sport and/or CCW. Thanks
  17. USAF 17+ years. 6 feet 3 inches tall 200 LBS. I freaking hate flying for a number of reasons. 1. I Know people that work on airplanes. These folks scare the shit out of me, and these guys are at least monitored by the USAF. I shudder to think of the folks that perform maintenance on the almost bankrupt airlines. Back when I was only in the USAF 2-3 years, I saw several crew chiefs stop drinking because they had to launch a jet in a few hours. 2. It is physically painful for me to fly. At the start the seat in front of me is touching my knees, so if the person in front tries to recline at all I'm screwed. 3. As of last weekend beer was $5 a can, strip bars are cheaper. 4. I freaking hate rental cars, if at all possible I will drive and have my vehicle to drive.
  18. But...but... +1 Speaking from a pure Metrology standpoint, that dog just don't hunt. USPSA has stated the chrono needs to be accurate to +/-4%. In the USAF we use a 4 : 1 standard; Basically you need to have a standard four times more accurate than the measurement your making. If we apply that standard to what we do, the acceptable range of our major power factor should be 138.6 to 191.4 FPS. If we really want to have a 165.000 minimum power factor floor for "Major", then we need to have a "target" power factor of 197.
  19. http://www.hoax-slayer.com/tear-drop-monument.shtml Beautiful monument, It's just sad that most folks are only now hearing about this.
  20. Brazos customer service is top notch. And the accuracy of my STI is also top notch. BK +1 Brazos rocks and the accuracy of my "tuned" Edge is great, shooting 2-3 inch groups off sandbags at 25 yards

    Snoop

Just not right, not right at all.
  22. I stopped watching it as soon as the stupid left wing B#%&@ "Janeane Garofalo" called all the "Tea Bag" protesters racist. I was giving her the benefit of the doubt up until then. They can't have a show that most Americans like and have an actress that is so publicly and radically left of center and expect me to keep watching it.
  23. Some people are just bung-holes. I just can't say what I really want to.
