Just put together a 41 MOS... I used the Ameriglo competition sights with a fiber optic front, great price, profile, and they don't block the plate... They do, however, hang off of the back a bit.

It's personal preference, also, your eye protection plays a role... Some make a different colors stand out more. I have a pair of glasses that make green bright. I have A pair that make red bright. Test both out, you'll like one more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not true. That is the most common way... But a true aftermarket trigger system includes oversized pins. And anyway you can create a tighter lockup will (technically) make the firearm more accurate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The advantage comes with using oversized pins... Anything you can do to create a tighter Lockup in a polymer framed pistol is (even if slight) an advantage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree with this... Obviously, not generically true for everyone. But most 'decent' shooters are just funding and proper guidance away from being great. My dad used to always say "there are only two things that you can't teach a man, drive, and talent." Thats a fact.

I was busting my ass in USPSA... Practicing, watching videos, improving the mechanics of my pistols, buying better holsters, pouches, ammo, etc... This is when I started shooting last year, and I was a lowly c class limited shooter... And I thought, how can I become a "competitive" shooter?? And it's actually really easy... I started shooting IDPA... and I've won my class in the last six consecutive major matches I've been in. Boom, proof is in the pudding. :-) Seriously though, if people wanna try and purchase their skill VIA a high end, hand built pistol, they can't be convinced otherwise... I've seen RIA's take down Wilson Combats in single stack and CDP.... Glocks have legitimately smashed past SVI's in front of my own eyes.... That being said, a shooter is a shooter... And enjoying something for what it is, and realizing that you don't get the trophy, is ok. It's still the most fun sport I've ever participated in. Just my $0.02

I dunno... I do like the feel of this... But I prefer a deep edge pro stipple job...

Absolutely nothing wrong with it.... People who are the average gun enthusiasts will tell you otherwise... Just like they say dry firing a pistol is going to break it... It's because that don't know what they're talking about. Lol

Hola! Pretty easy fix! Lock the slide back... Remove the rear plate... Remove extractor bar and striker... Let plunger fall out of the bottom of the grip... Take out extractor... Bring slide forward... Should come right off ;-) In the future, those orange armorers plates really make this easy :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nice! Did you find out about your front sight height? Whose guide rod did you use Glockstore, Glockmeister,Zev? Also, I use the guide rod from NDZ.... They aren't huge yet, but make a much more solid product than you'd think... Try them out. I actually have their prototype gen4 adapter in my 41...
