Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Thank you, I'll look into that option. The shadow also sounds like an option, as well as a TSO.
  2. When I tried the Everglades ammo in my gun, it kept jamming. I know the gun had trouble with longer OALs.
  3. I've decided that, at least at this point in my life, reloading is one step too much. I haven't got the time or the patience for it. So, I am wondering if I must sell my beloved CZ Czechmate Parrot as well since I won't be making 9mm major for it. Does anybody use factory ammo in these guns? I'd love to find some affordable factory ammo that will still drive the comp. I realize I won't make major but honestly I don't care that much. This sport is just for fun. Thanks!
  4. It's 9x19. It comes with an interchangeable barrel and spring so you can shoot 9mm minor or major.
  5. It's build specifically for that. The gun has a 1-1.5 lb trigger. Unbelievable.
  6. I'm looking for a rubber cover for my C-More. It didn't ship with one for some reason and I would like to protect it. Thank you.
  7. Ok, that's what I think I will do. Thank you for the advice. This way I can learn but with lower risks. I appreciate all the input.
  8. I think I will set up the Parrot for 9mm minor until I can work up a safe minor load, then go from there. Probably a safer route. Just curious, can you use Hodgon HS-6 for standard 9mm?
  9. I'm in Utah. We have a plethora of shooters and reloaders.
  10. I was expecting emails telling me I had responses...so I thought that I had none!
  11. By the way, I'm not offended. Just give it to me straight. Would rather the shame then blow my head off.
  12. Ok, thanks for the advice. I'll ask around at my next match for somebody who can help. You are right, I am in over my head. This is how I approach life in general, however, so it's nothing new for me. However, I recognize that ammo is a bit more of a risky business so I'll approach it more cautiously. I went out and got a new chrono from Sportsman's so I'll start using it. See, if I didn't come on here and ask and open myself up to the embarrassment of being a newb and and a total idiot, I wouldn't learn! Still....gotta learn somehow I guess. Also, I found some 9mm major for sale from a shop in Florida. I may give it a try and see if I can reverse engineer it.
  13. Ok, great. I will shorten the OAL down. That seems to be a common issue.
  14. I honestly have no idea what that means. I feel a bit embarrassed but as another poster mentioned, I'm "jumping in with both feet."
