Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. The biggest question I have about the magneto speed V3 is do you find it's results to be accurate when developing a load for your pistols?
  2. I am considering purchasing a chorongraph and can not afford a labradar. I am considering either a G2 or Magnetospeed. I was wondering what are pros or cons of either? I plan on working loads for both pistol and rifle. Any advice or insight would be helpful. Thanks
  3. Curious how to Black Bullet International bullets stack up to blue bullets?
  4. I am interested in learning what the real benefit is, if there is one of using Dillon pistol caliber dies over Lee three die set. I am getting a Dillon 550c and am looking at dies. I understand that the Dillon dies use a separate die to crimp where the Lee dies use the same die to seat and crimp. Does this make a real difference? Is there any other differences I should be aware of? It seems currently the Dillon 3 die set takes 6 months to receive where I can get the Lee die set off the shelf, plus the Dillon dies are substantially more expensive. Any input would be helpful, thanks!
  5. I'm wondering if magazine release and slide release extensions are legal for limited class shooting with a Glock 35? I know they would not be allowed in the Production class but seem to be allowed in Limited if I'm reading the rules correctly?
  6. At this point my best guesstimate is about 10,000 rds. for a year - 6,500 rds. - 40 S&W, 2,000 - 5.56 Nato, 500 - 9 mm, 500 - .45 acp, and 500 - .308. After reading the comments here and some reviews, I'm leaning strongly toward the Dillon 550C. I think this will give me the ability to make the rounds in a timely fashion, switch between calibers, have a long-term stability, and be cost effective. I am curious however, on the value of using a single stage press like the Lee Challenger. Other than the much lower price point what is the advantage, if there is one to having this press?
  7. I am considering reloading as an option. I'm starting to look over reloader but don't really know anything about them. I've found the Dillion 750 and the Lee Load Master but other than the vast price difference I don't understand what the benefit is of one over the other. I'm guessing I'll reload less than 5000 rounds a year between various different rounds. Any suggestions?
  8. I'm not sure which boxed ammo to use or what to look for in it? I'm shooting a Glock 35 and will be in limited class. Do you use the same ammo for practice and completion?
  9. I’m new to USPCA and planning on shooting a Glock 35 in Limited and wanted to know what is the max allowed magazine size? The gun I ordered comes with 15 rd magazines and I’m considering adding Tyrant Arms extensions. Would this be allowed?
  10. I'm looking for a good shot timer that will also work with dry fire. Any suggestions?
  11. Looks like the Holosun Vulcan is a solid optic. Any feedback on how well they hold up? Are they as rugged as other choices?
  12. What's the benefit of a Trijicon SRO over RMR?
  13. I'm a new USPSA Shooter and considering trying the optics class in the future. I shot a Glock 35 and was wondering which Red Dot sight are people finding useful, good quality, etc. I am leaning toward a Vortex sight probably the Viper. What are some opinions?
  14. Sounds like a Timney Trigger is the way to go on this, doubt I can tune it myself but will probably have to send it away to Johnny to tune it for me.
  15. Thank you! One of the things I'm really appreciating is learning the best approach to the fine tuning I wish to do on my weapon!
