    Caspain

thanks for the replys , if I can't find some good priced caspain magazines, my go with a sti that a buddy of mine has, again THANKS
  2. growing tired of waiting for springfield to bring out the tgo in 40 S&W, I have found a caspian wide-body in 40 S&W, but the owner will only part with one 19 rd. stick , are these magazines that hard to get?
  3. yea, you and me both , any idea if the magazines can be made to 140mm? how about cost?
  4. Tulsa is GREAT , my son and I traveled there while he was home on leave once and shot the O.K. All steel shoot-out, the landscape is makes for a great shooting range, hotels rates are good, and a really great part of the country to see!!!
  5. I also shot your match for the first time this year, very well laid out match and excellant range, and R.O.'s. I also will return this year if you keep the hurricanes away
  6. I have never liked the lighted pistol, if i'm moving though a darked area with a intruder present, WHY show him where i'm at
  7. Know it may be a little early to be planning for next year, got my application from paul miller yesterday for the handgunner/winchester world challenge, first time i went was 2000, more or less started as a joke between my son and I, I was raised with the 45 and so was my son. He read about the match in handgunner magazine and told me I should go. So as a virgin I jump into the middle of major competetion with a basic stock colt national match, and cheap ammo, ended up leaving on thursday night (my father died), but paul and his wife ( I have read were she has passed, my condolense) sent me a golf shirt and some other stuff later, I must have not been that bad, missing two days of competion and still came in 4th from bottom. So we have bought a motor home since then and have not really used it all that much, althought the 300 dollor entry seems a little steep to most people, for the time of your life, puttting over a 1,000 rounds downrange, and land and nature that will take your breath away (did I mention the heat) I'm going back this year as long as nothing happens before, why not give it a try, just pack plenty of SUNTAN LOTION! www.sanjuanrange.com
  8. will that fit on square deal (dillion) 45 acp?
  9. Getting old as well, that's why I bought a WALLY WORLD four wheel wagon at start of season, good infated tires, and you can carry EVERYTHING with you, just roll along
  10. thanks larry, that may be better in the long run, the only reason for the 45 part was that they've both already have the slides on them (don't really need any more 45, I think seven is enough) I just might call benny thanks
  11. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP GUYS, I'll keep ya posted
  12. I always use to stop at their shop after work, 7 a.m. and pick up my 45 acp, have switched to Precision bullets, kemp tx. WWW. precisionbullets.com (black bullet) I think it was 115.00 per2K delivered, they work great and make major with less powder, But Star 2nd's were allways a good bullet
  13. considering sending a Hi-Cap frame that I have, either the rock island or springfield off to have converted to 40 S&W, will ramped barrel of course (barstol), question can I send the 45 acp slide with it and have the same pistol set up to run the 40 and 45 on same pistol frame, different barrels of course, the slide for the 40 will be a sti., is this do able or just a old man's wet dream?
  14. Got a new e-mail from deb. at springfield: At present time, we do not have any projected delivery on the Leatham Legend High Cap Trophymatch> Production has informed our customer service department that this is currently on INDEFINITE delivery and no retail price has been set. We apologize for this inconvenience, but will post information on our web site as it becomes available. DEB Custom Shop Coordinator Springfield Custom 420 West Main St. Geneseo, Ill. 61254 800-617-6751 O.K. I guess if I can'nt find a Springfield slide in a 40 S&W (yea right) IT'S HELLO S.T.I. I guess we are luckly that they built the Hi-Cap 45acp
  15. Think I may just have a 40S&W built, I've got a spare Hi-Cap springfield 45acp, the gun that rich Dettlehouser built looks real nice, and the owner said it's still runn 100%
  16. Just got phone with debbie at springfield armory on the new model P19146L in 40 S&W, now will be sometime in the first quarter of next year, hopefully by march, no other confirmed information, price, mags, ect.
  17. GREAT MATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for having me, and yes the pictures from the awards could take some explaining!!! to john's wife
  18. SORRY JOHN!! my bust, I just fiqured out how to use it and open it, OK so I'm a dumba** ,all the information is their like you said. And i don't now why you would misspell my last name, I can count on one hand the amount of people outside of family that can spell it without looking. Again sorry for the mixup
  19. prefer federal, zero problems! just a note, i picked up a old S.A. that i had'nt fired in years, grabed some practice ammo and a box of americ that i can't give away, to make a long story short the americ preformed good in the old piece. I think this is the one that i had throated deeper, i don't remember why. it's the first 45 that i've had the it really worked in.
