since the sti for para magazines are kinda hard to find, would para 16-40 magazines fit and function, and any word if maybe springfield might make a 40 S&W hi-cap like the WWII model? that's now I got my limited gun build this year started with same frame as you did and went from their ended up about 1400 all togeather not counting magazines and basepads. runs great like a springfield!

you will love your square deal , as for the primer make sure the machine is rock solid on the bench, and press forward firmly when seating primers, I had the same problem, good luck I load mine out 1.25 and it runs good in both my springfields (1911 style)

I beleve the lady on the phone said he already had the new follower and spring design done, and was now working on a new base pad design, either way they won't be ready for some time yet, now I could have hear her wrong, my hearing like my eyes are not what they used to be

just for information: Just got off the phone with grams, he's still getting the base pad designed, he's the designer and bulider all in one, so it's still a wait, but from everyone i've talked to it will be worth it. Might add very nice people to talk to

has anyone really ever gotten a usa or a pro-mag to work properly in a par-ord 14-45? bought a couple at a local gun shop (cheap) just to fool around with, tried ajusting this, that and the other, and they just will not work

CMC'S !!!!!!!, have ran them through, my springfield single stack and several colt models in last few years, springs were a little tight at first (like most new mags) tried most of the others, only one that would not run realiable was the pro-mags, never did figure them out, good luck!
