  1. I know guys that would love to get some HS6. By the keg. Shooting major 40. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Most lead cast bullets can be swaged in lee FCD if the bottom sizing ring hasn't been knocked out. I don't see it so bad with any thing else. I like the FCD because it doesn't rely on consistent brass oal aka sorted HS and trimmed brass. I have taper crimp dies and FCDies. I choose FCD. Jmo Left bullet had too much crimp. 3. Much cleaner loading and shooting. Make sure ya get a good bell on the case. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. 2000 rounds. Wow. What's the oal? Just curious. I had to shorten the oal in 9mm over .080 for a LWD Barrel. I loaded 1.160 for a new LC9 when I put a 9-40 conversion in the glock it all changed. To 1.078. Thx. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Make a good enough bell to not shave the coating. They are cleaner and I like them better. My preference is plated or jacketed. For target 9mm we shoot sns coated 125. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Maybe I miss spoke. They are not jacketed or plated. Sorry Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Once it's set for that barrel and the crimp is good let it roll. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Try 125 plated hp Powerbond. 158 has more recoil. Both are accurate with light to moderate load wt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Ya need to follow set up instructions per lee. It'll tell you to back off the seating die so you have no crimp. When the seated bullet oal is set go to the fact crimp die. Back off the stem till its almost out of the die. Raise the loaded round fully. When it touches the bullet you should run it in 1/4 to 3/8 turn but not over half in 9mm. Just enough to drop in the chamber with barrel in hand and spin is good. This figuring you have the head space right on oal. If y are hanging in the FCD die knock the size ring out and welcome to a better world. Didn't believe it till I tried it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. It should work. I load 125 9mm coated and 38 ok. Not the best choice for 9 but use what ya have till something better shows up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. 1.050 is the limit last time I cked. Good sticky. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Lousy metering under 4 GN. Ok for 357/44 mag/45colt. Better be banging on the drop for 9 and 38 a lot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Sounds long like posted b4. I load 1.125 in 165,180, and 200s. Work your way down .010 till it drops and if you got the crimp right you should find it if all else is right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Ck head space with your barrel as stated earlier. Most everything that fails case cker passes with barrel in hand. Has to be pretty severe for mine to fail in the actual barrel it's firing from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Lol. I buy what I can get to go bang. I was looking at major with power pistol in 40. My autocomp and longshot gets major pretty easy. With a 165 I would have to get close to max load and possibly load short. In power pistol I just load my 9s and scarf up what I can find when it hits the shelf. Major 45 is pretty easy with bullseye and power pistol. Been there done it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. If you are talking about failure to feed I agree with Jack. Are you cking the head space with the gun disassembled and barrel in hand ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Shot them thru 38/357. Very accurate. Like mentioned before smoky. That's pure lead though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. The numbers shown on alliant site will be max. Don't start there. Just so you know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I bulge bust with clean empty cases. Some times they don't pass the EGW Chamber ckg gage after final loading. I set them aside. Mayb 3-4%. When my session is done I ck those in my actual barrel. They all head space properly in my glock barrel. They Go in the target practice only bag. I have not had a failure in 2k rounds. Even in the target bag. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. The 180s run most accurate for me between 900-950 FPS. No complaints. I switched to 165 Powerbond HP loaded for major and this is my new favorite. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I load 165, 180, and 200@ 1.125. My best oal for the stick G23 for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. We get spread sheets in email from our director with all the details. I have a iPhone 3G Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. My EGW cker is tighter than my glock chambers. Just saying. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I knocked the sizing ring out of my FCD in 9,40, &45. I just use a mild crimp to iron out the bell and not leave a big ring around the boolit. I have an extra FCD in each caliber. After picking up range brass and loading they all get bulge busted on my rock chucker before the get loaded on the turret. They all still get chamber cked and 1-2 % get set aside for target only. Solved ALL FTF PROBS. Just me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
