  1. My accuracy and chronied fps consistency in 9,40,and 45 all being cast lead or plated tell me I am doing fine with thousands of rounds and no leading thru the FCD and not to mention my bulge buster. I don't think it's just luck. Good day and best wishes. Over and out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. If reloading glocked brass is a crutch then I guess I'm a cripple. What do ya think I'm doing wrong besides that? My brass is range brass that varies in length from .003-.010. These are only target loads with my expected occasional flyer that I don't mind. Ya sound like a hater that says there is only one right way...your way. Best wishes. PS IF the FCD is so god awfully terrible why does it produce consistent start pressures (100 plus rounds straight test) all within 30 FPS with a lee auto disc drop. Guess the auto disc is a pos too huh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I like this for my pin separation. Colander and a bowl filled halfway up the colander with warm rinse water. Stir it around with your Hand and with practice it will be ready for the oven in just a minute. Before the oven a quick roll around on a towel works nice to prevent spots and speed drying. 4. So that's 1000 rounds nickel 35 shipped? Gimme the link plz. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I see your point on springy brass . On the other hand my feed and eject issues went away after FCD except for maybe 2 out of 100. After running my last 150 plus 45acp rounds thru the bulge buster it dropped to one in the whole lot which I think was a short powder charge as it hung on the ejector pin. Of the rounds I chronied..(approx 100) were within 32 FPS. Never seen this consistency until FCD was used. So I can only speak from my own personal experience. Best wishes. 8. Well I am target loading SNS Casting 230 LRN. Three different head stamps. Speer, Blazer, and Federal. Loaded 20 Fed and 20 Speer. All are hitting the ring in the FCD. Some harder than others. I am chamber checking and hardly any are falling in flush before or after crimping. I am barely flaring the mouth to the point at first it was shaving. Most loads after FCD check ok after slightly eased down with a finger. Usually does not fall out unless I tap it out on my palm. Not a tight bind but not anything like my 9s or 40s. They fall in and out of the checker. The 45 brass after cleaned and sized fell in and out of the checker but after loading not so easy. Bullets mike at 452 consistently. Neck tension is prob around 2-3 thousandths tight. Any help greatly appreciated. First time loading 45acp. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. So how do the corn cob and walnut clean the pockets? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. Whats the most times anybody ever got on avg loading a particular head stamp?
  12. I like to wet tumble with .047 Diam. pins. Universal decapper first. If i'm in a rush they run for one-one and a half hours and in the oven for 30 min. If I'm not in a rush and they will be sitting for 2-3 days I just spread them out on a towel. Either way they look brand new. even the grungy looking tarnished range brass. Then full length sizing. I'm kinda OCD sometimes...... Sometimes I will sort them out by head stamps.....then sort those matching headstamps into lots of within .003 case length (sometimes)... This is a hobby in that shooting and reloading are both relaxing and enjoyable to me when I choose for it to be. I can only load around 200 rounds an hour on my press so compared to some of the progressive machines I'm pretty much in slow motion.... Just my opinion. Best Wishes.
  13. Thanks for a great place to read and learn. Been hanging out in the shadows for some time now and thought it would be awesome to join up. Thanks!
