It's really full! I've been riding the index hole with my thumb to help soften the snap. It took some time to get the feel for it but it's not too bad.
I used this this data for the first time the other day and I have to agree. I shot five different powders, all making 170ish Pf, and the 3n38 was definitely the one. You just have to be a tad bit more patient and gentle while loading.
I'm doing the same thing. I'll probably drill out a hole or make a hollow bolt just in case. I'm digging how deep/consistent the primers are seating now.
Here's mine. I took a couple thou off the inside of the dust cover just below the frame rail and the radius. I also had to reprofile the "peanut" on the barrel to match my shadow barrel.
I really like these bullets. I can't give you any plunk and spin data because my CZ barrels are reamed, but his 125/147 profiles are different than the other brands. The accuracy, prices, and shipping times have been excellent.
A lot of guys here in Cali swap out their blocked slides for shadow slides and usually sell them for $250/$350. The few frames I've seen have been in the neighborhood of $500.
Yes. He did my tacsport barrel at the same time as my shadow barrel. I did the 10X bushings in both at the same time and couldn't be happier. I'm sending him my wife's G34 barrel so she can shoot my Ammo.
