  6. I use a wood burner to melt in real numbers in the back of the basepads.

  10. Thanks Kent- I think it would be a good rule of thumb to buy a year's worth. What ever that amount may be, and if one can afford it. There are those out there that can shoot 20k+. But get the highest quantity you can afford. You save money that way.

  15. As of last year, we might see a handful of folks shooting SS at any given match here in N. Texas. I could care less, because there is nothing more priceless in this sport (to me, anyway) than smacking around the Open shooters with my 1911.
  16. Last time I stocked up it was 12,000 bullets, 16 lbs of powder and 15,000 primers. YMMV

Right or wrong this is how I do it: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...st&p=687499 I works well for me- if I cant my wrist too much like #2 I tend to hit the mag release, even with no paddle or extension. That is probably 'cause I tend to sqeeze my grip quite a bit more with my left hand and relax my right hand. Especially when I am really hosin'!
  18. Close- at the Nationals at Tulsa there seems to be some snap dragons cruisin' around as hostesses.
