    I have checked my crimp frequently and it is within spec. So that isn't it. I was wondering about the possibility of the Hornady One Shot lube softening the cases and causing it. But not sure.

    I have noticed this too- hasn't really concerned me over the years since the ammo is reliable and safe...But would be interested in hearing what is causing it and if it is less than ideal...

    They actually look quite a bit better when playing on the computor from files and on the DVD player. They are digital quality files.

    How tough is the factory sight to remove? It looks like it might be stubborn. Thanks for the info! I have also heard that they are fit really-really tight and tough to take out. But a sight pusher shouldn't have too much trouble.

    I have heard that the Les Baer sights fit the front dovetail on the Spartan, but the STIs don't.....

    Yup- keep in mind if you are loading for .50 or rifle- the SDB won't accomodate that.
