  1. Yeah- see the post above his....
  2. What needle/thread is she using?? I don't have time to hit a shoe repair place before the FL Open Just a regular needle and thread. And use one of those finger doo dads if you have one! Otherwise you will regret it! She hates doing it- but I am worth it!

  4. Looking forward to helping out Carl- let me know when we can squad up. Semper Fi!
  5. That one is a bit far for me to go for a Classifier match. I also need four in SS. I didn't get my Spartan in time to shoot it in the Pine Tree classifier match. Although Feb will be pretty cold, I imagine, it may have to do. Although I plan on making it down in March, but then March can be worse than Feb around here. Keep us posted, three is better than one!
  6. Tom with Masterblasters used to recommend it with all of their bullets- even .40. Just FYI...
  7. I have tried that with alot of people and can not believe how many of them never show up because they are shy about shooting in front of others! The common comment I hear from them is "Well I would need to practice awhile first." I have only had probably 1-2 people actually come and shoot. Unfortunately non of they stayed. So that isn't as easy as it sounds. At least around here. As far as Limited-10, I think it should hold it's ground. The complaints I have heard really never held water so to speak. Especially the one about "too many divisions." In my opinion that was a cop out, especially since they had a new one in Provisional status at the time!
  8. I used to use a 13# recoil spring minus 2-3 coils cut off when I shot both the G34 & G35. Worked great for me- here is a link to CGR that may help you... http://www.custom-glock.com/springtech.html
  9. I too have noticed the difference in temperature. But Titegroup isn't the only powder I have noticed that with. I just decided to go with a cleaner powder. That way no matter how bad I shoot I can still look good doing it! Chics dig clean guns!!
  10. When I first met with Dave Sevigny at a GSSF match, he said he preferred the G17. But must also feel there is enough of an avantage to the longer sight radius and barrel in the G34-35 to shoot them in USPSA. He does shoot the G17 in IPSC though. I believe the G34 is not allowed in International competition.
  11. Well hopefully Tom runs a classifier match at Schultz's so I can get classed.
  12. Got it. I know how that is. Maybe I'll catch you at one of the monthly matches. Not likely- but if you can make it to Schultz's or Oconomowoc I will see ya there. It's been too long bro!
  13. How's the red blaster treaten' ya?! It's sweet. I have dedicated myself to making M in production. So, it doesn't see a lot of use, but I still break it out for dry fire practice about once a month. It's gonna get absolutely ran like a raped ape when I make that M card though. Cool
  14. Well something came up with the scheduling and I wasn't going to get up at 1:30am to go. There are some other reasons, but we'll leave it at that.
  15. I have an old MEC Loadmaster. Doesn't get used much, but works good.
  16. The Matt Burkett Practical Shooting Series for sure. Other notables are the 3GM by Saul Kirsch and his Master Class Series. And the Burner Series from Jerry Barnhart would be good too. Brownells carries it in DVD.
  17. Yup- there are five that I can possibly make in my area. Might be kinda cold though!
  18. I am hoping to get out of the deep field myself.
  19. Bill mentioned that he will update classification the last time once it is run in the middle of April. I would think you would want to look it over when you register at the match to make sure all your information is correct.
  20. Sorry to pull your string Cy- but what I think Benny is getting at- or at least I am, is that this subject has been hashed and rehashed soooo many times that it is getting redundant. I am sure Benny has heard it hashed out waaay more than me, and I think it is beating a dead horse. Again sorry if you were affended, and I didn't mean it as a personal attack.
  21. Here are a couple designs from Mach 2 Tactical:
