  1. Wow, that looks great Trigger! I like the grip reduction and duracoat, very nice.
  2. Let the drooling commence! If it came with 4 mags instead of just (just?) 3 it'd be a perfect production division starter package...max rounds of 32...just sayin'. I'll be trying production with my mostly stock P-01, limited minor with my TS 9mm. Is it warm weather time yet??
  3. Yes, yes I can get the "shadow 2" tactical sights...excellent. http://czcustom.com/czshadowiireartritium.aspx
  4. http://czcustom.com/cz75sp019shadowblacknight.aspx Just found this jewel on the cz custom site, how have I not heard about it till now? How long has it been out and who has one? And yes, it appears there are some available! 85 combat style slide (no fpb) makes this perfect for our game...says it's production division legal. Can I get the rear sight (tactical ledge with tritium) for my P-01?
  5. Thanks for the info bigfish. CRAPS had its last match of the season in November, and I haven't really found anything else around here. Not sure what Midwest will charge for a league day, but I'd be interested to check it out at least once. .
  6. @KneelingAtlas, still 5.4 inches. Wonder if they include the ramp?
  7. 3-gun shotgun 712 Practical, list $699, holds 9+1
  8. The new Dan Wesson double-stack. List is $3829.00...but I can dream!
  9. Snapshot of the P-09 and -07 page
  10. Catalog just arrived! Highlights are: P-09 available in flat dark earth P-09 and -07 get new metallic sights New 9mm double-stack "Chaos" from Dan Wesson New 712 Practical shotgun for 3-gun I'll attempt to post some pictures.
  11. Ok, front sight has been upgraded! For other newbies out there, the roll pin that holds in the front sight is a hollow cylinder (ie, you can see through it). Some minor filing on the FO sight for fitting but looks great! I got the 1.5mm length rod which is slightly longer than the stock black blade (reduces the sight radius by 0.5mm) but should allow more light and a brighter fiber, right? Either way, I'm pleased with it! Is it April yet? I'm ready for some more USPSA action now...
  12. I'll let you know as soon as my hard copy arrives!
  13. I can see daylight through the pin hole. Either way, I should have a replacement part next week. Just had me slightly concerned after reading some of the FAQ's on front sight replacement and the importance of the roll pin in the slide bushing. Thanks for the quick replies! Have a great Thanksgiving!
  14. From CZ-USA: The 2014 catalog has been released! Get yours by calling 1-800-955-4486 ext. 331. I haven't found a digital copy yet, but if anyone has a link please share it!
  15. Pic attached for proof. No clue when it came out, I've got about 400 rounds thru the gun so far.
  16. I just noticed the front sight on my new TS is missing the pin. Does the TS have the same design as the 75B on that the pin also secures a bushing in the slide? I just ordered another pin and FO front sight from CZC but I'm curious if I should not use my TS until I get the pin replaced?
  17. Good string might be of interest for some other newbies and wanna be engineers. Thanks all for sharing! Now a cosmetic question, after you trim a spring to fit in your application with whatever desired preload, hire do you smash the end coils to make a flat end again?
  18. Nice red on black, Monkee. I was thinking about the red flat trigger too...seems appropriate: danger if pulled here. Very nicely put together!
  19. Yeah, I'm used to manual safeties on my 75B so the decocker may be more confusing when transitioning between the two. Do you do EDC with this or more competition focused?
  20. I'm on the fence on this model or a decocker model with all these nice add ons. Now that you've had it awhile, what are your impressions? I'm considering one for production division and EDC. Balancing the trigger pull with the decocker being a little less perfect compared to the ease of decocking for daily routine and LAMR during competition. Thoughts?
  21. Curious if you go back to the original grip with the new trigger? I didn't spend much time with the original grips but the finger placement was a big adjustment from my 75b with rubber grips.
  22. I couldn't have said it better (or in a more hilarious taken-out-of-context way!). Starting with a .22LR for practice really helped me, and bench rest live fires with my competition setup brought it all together. Still plenty of opportunity to improve though!
  23. To follow on the thread just previously posted, what are some powder/primer/bullet combinations to avoid? For example, using a slower burning powder with moly-coated bullets?? Everyone seems to have a preference on what they like, but I'm sure there's some good stories on things that didn't work out as well as expected!
  24. Thanks, Stewart. I'll add that 7.5mm fiber front sight in with my next order from your shop!
