  5. I can imagine someone showing up to this one with water wings and a life jacket. Maybe some rubber duckies to float around in the moat too? Joe W. Don't give Cliff any ideas. OK, water wings, a life jacket and purple sparkly banana hammoc? Joe W.

  8. Although I shoot Open I found this video VERY helpful for those times when I might need to help someone install a new fiber. Joe W.
  9. Getting to see old friends and making lots of new friends. This should be a great trip to the Nationals for sure. Joe W.
  10. This coming weekend should be a good chance to let things go and happen as they should. Four days of shooting in the desert should help me let go. Joe W.
  11. ROFL Now that there is funny, I don't care who you are. Joe W.

  13. Very well stated Brian. Over the years I have had it happen to me a few times. I just wish it would happen more often. Joe W. Wanting "it" to happen is one thing that will prevent it from occurring. For that timeless, magical zone state to occur, all forums of wanting, caring, and trying must cease. The optimum mindset is a state of total doubt-free certainty. In that state the conditions are favorable for the zone-state to occur. Do an Advanced, Title only search for "the zone" (in quotes) and you'll find quite a few good threads on this. be As much as I want it to happen, I need to just LET it happen. Thank you for the advice Brian, we can always count on you to help open our eyes like this. Joe W.
  14. I never get tired of these videos! It is amazing to see something as hard as the metals used flowing like water and flexing like plastic at times. Joe W.
  15. I found them the night of the move but the site is not letting me modify my old *pre web site update* ad. Joe W.
  16. I needed some new shoes so I did my usual, hit up Shoe Carnival. Got my Nike Airs for $49 and got a second pair of shoes half off! What did I get? Picke me up a pair of Nike Landsharks for $20 with the discount. Joe W.
  17. Kind of like meth for your gun? lol Joe W.
  18. I haven't quit a stage but had a few I should have. Area 3 in 2005, dislocated my knee sideways in the middle of a stage. Gimped up, shaking like a leaf from the pain and on the verge of tears I finished the stage. HORRIFIC time and points but I finished. Joe W.
  19. Mine doesn't either, I have given thought to adding one but I have just gotten used to racking it as needed without a racker. Granted the kickstand feature would be a nice additiion. Joe W. I'm running a Quinn II, for the kickstand effect, adding a racker will only raise me up another 1/2in or so... I want to add mainly for the ease and speed of loading the gun... If I can get it to clear my thumb I worry about a slide racker clearing my thumb too. One of my shooting buddies let me try his gun out and it was nice but it threw me off a bit trying to remember to always keep my thumb down. Joe W.
  20. I forgot to add, Squad 15 shooting Open. Joe W.
  21. On tap for today: LOTS of washing, folding and packing Cleaning out my range bag Changing batteries in my C-More, ear muffs and the like Freaking out big time as I wait for the match lol Joe W
  22. *sighs* My parents wouldn't let me watch Monty Python when I was growing up and as an adult I never could find it on TV. Joe W.
  23. I hate that a fellow shooter from the forum here sent me a magazine release he didn't need and I did only to have the USPS destroy the package in the mail. The remains of the package were delivered to me minus the magazine release. When I went to file the a report with the post office I was told by the superviser I was pretty much SOL. One shooter tries to help out another one and everyone gets screwed by the post office. Joe W.
