  1. Color me ignorant but I thought the point of the MOS was that it was already milled. It's milled for Glock MOS (Modular Optic System) adapter plate, included in the box plates for 4 different mounting patterns (Doctor, Trijicon, C-more, Delta point) for the optic you choose.
  2. If you just want 'big' then and aren't under any length constraints, just get the cz75 9mm 26 round mag. You've got 26 rounds rock stock. That isn't a popular mag for USPSA because stock it is over 170mm length, but in your case won't matter. I use them for wildcat night matches here where everyone shoots open, no restrictions on mag length (and for open minor practice). http://czcustom.com/CZ-75-CZ-85-9mm-26-Rounds.aspx The rubber surround on the bottom comes off if you desire. My understanding this mag done for full auto CZ pistol :-) (and even more rounds if you want to spend $$ on CZC 13 coil spring with follower, and extended base pad )
  3. With the factory 18 round SP01 mags, use the CZC short base pad, and the CZC follower/spring kneeling atlas mentioned to get to 22 rounds reloadable/reliable (at least for me), this will also be under the 140mm limit, if you need for your 3gun division. http://czcustom.com/cz75-extended_base_pad_short.aspx http://czcustom.com/czcspringandfollowerkit10.aspx I'd just forgo the magwell -- how often are you changing mags in 3 gun anyway ;-) I tried the CZ-UB magwell, it was nice for 140mm mags, but then didn't make it easy to use your other normal mags if you have some. I just leave my Accu-Shadow lower the same (no magwell) for production, open minor (different slide), or 3gun
  4. Maybe if you count that you run it with compensator/open or barrel nut with front sight/limited?
  5. Why not a vacuum instead - Metro DataVac Toner Vac & Micro Cleaning Tools? Although it can run as a blower also.
  6. Congratulations on your new CZC Accu-Shadow, those are VERY cool! The bushing on the 'regular' accushadow fits ok, its your extended Aussie barrel that is causing the issue. Such a nice "problem" to have :-)
  7. Not even that bad - the SP01 frame is identical from base SP01 through Accu-Shadow - all have high beavertail, bevelled magwell, longer slide release and extra checkering. (other things like extended mag release, shadow safety lever, trigger, you can swap in). It's the short dustcover CZ75 that is different CZ75B (low beavertail) vs CZ75 Shadow or SA (high beavertail), AFAIK.
  8. CZ SP01 is on Production list and on CA roster also FYI, lots of folks are getting that as their 'value' production gun (vs. chasing the unicorns).
  9. For CZ you can go with the SP-01 (or even watch classifieds on Calguns for safe queen SP-01 Shadow occasionally). But SP-01 you can get in CA, and with trigger work from any of Cajun Gun Works, Automatic Accuracy or CZ Custom, that single action pull will be not far off from a nice 1911.
  10. One of the locals who works on guns and does throat reaming told me he much prefers to do on a fresh barrel - with use the barrel will harden.
  11. 12. Looks like you are correct based on what is on Cajun Gun Works page and note about their p-series roller "The 75 Omega's use different diameter as well as a different width roller.", Thanks! Will update!

    Hard chromed SP01?

Is that a SP01 frame with a CTS slide? Yes, that's something Waffen Oschatz does. Wasn't trying to sidetrack original question, but was one that I knew top of mind had a similar finish / look to what OP might want.

    Hard chromed SP01?

  15. Does USPSA 'care' if someone makes it available as a resource or guide (that can been viewed offline) separate from what the online calculators do?

    Hard chromed SP01?

Not exact, but maybe similar to what you are thinking in terms of look/finish? One of the guys locally had his Tactical Sport hard chromed at Metaloy and it looked great, but I haven't found a pic of that yet.

    Czechmate spare parts?

I haven’t seen an orderable list. If you search ‘Czechmate’ at shop.cz-usa.com, you get the following parts that might be interesting to you, as things that would wear or need to be replaced. - Czechmate recoil spring - Czechmate slide stop pin, no lever - Czechmate scope mount screw - 20 or 26 round mag Other ‘wear’ items are most likely common to Tactical Sport or CZ75, so you need to search that way. - Firing pin spring - Main spring / hammer spring - Slide stop - Trigger spring - Magazine springs There are other czechmate specific parts you can order from shop.cz-usa.com as needed or to have handy, but not things you’d normally need to keep for spare parts. - barrel - compensator or front sight block - magwell - recoil spring housing - scope mount - slide racker - grips - concealed hammer ... and of course the springs you can also get at Cajun Gun works, CZ Custom, Wolfe Gunsprings ... and the CZ Custom follower and springs are nice to use from the get-go, especially with CZ Custom base pad on the 170 mags.
  18. Welcome from NorCal (multi-CZ)!
  19. I see the thin safeties on the CZC web site. Where can I find the heavier detent springs? My Google-fu is failing me :-( http://dsperman.com/products/CZSpring/CZSpring.html
  20. Berry's 124 RN I was loading 1.135 for my SP01 Shadow Custom
  21. do you think it will be less available since VV was sold to another company? Company sale can sometimes result in supply issues...? I had orders from two different retailers May 2014, which was what, 5 months after they were bought by Nammo (parent of Lapua)? Then two different orders after that last year and this. So I had better luck 2014+ than I did in 2013 before they were sold, if I've got the timeline correct.
  22. Awesome! I've done the last couple of matches Open Minor with my CZ Shadow slide milled for a Deltapoint and had an absolute ball. Funny thing, because I still have the super thin safeties on this frame, I've just been starting DA first pull with hammer down on loaded chamber like I would production, its not that big a deal. It's a guaranteed conversation starter as most people aren't used to someone shooting Open with DA first pull :-)
  23. I've ordered and received more than once this year, sometimes via winning the Powder Valley lottery (getting there at the right time ...), also by regularly checking all the major folks, also if/when any offer ability to backorder, to take advantage of that. Get on the alerts for stock, watch the threads for 'in stock powder, get some friends to hunt with you. (Powder Valley, Grafs, 3rd Generation Shooting Supply, MidSouth Shooters Supply, Midway USA, Brownells, etc.) If you consistently put the work in, over time you'll get some. If you don't have the time to do that, use the info above to Fetterly, he'll ship, just view his premium on items and shipping as $$ in exchange for the time you didn't have to put in hunting for it, and being able to get NOW :-)
  24. I think it's about $400-500 (?) in parts and knowhow to get something stock to very nice 'custom' equivalent with lighter DA/SA and short reset, IMHO _THAT_ IS worth the extra coin over stock for battling in Production, whether it's SP01 or SP01 Shadow. Beyond that, also IMHO: - SP01 Shadow is easier top end to work over / maintain vs SP01 - Accu gives you measurably tighter groups over non-accu with custom work, but both can be 10/10 in the A zone or steel at 25 yards if you do your part
  25. It might be tough to put Dillon's warranty on Mr Bulletfeeder w/o costing them a bunch in support calls and parts for the feeder itself, as well as the feeder working with the presses at the reliability level of the Dillon. Certainly would be more convenient to the customer if they did. A logical extension to that question might also be why no auto-drive Dillon, from Dillon? It will be interesting to see if a few years from now if someone designs and supports a press that anticipates and works well with all of case feed, bullet feed, auto drive, error checking (powder, bullets, primers, jam, etc), sold/supported from a single source for the customer.
