Run k9 mags, I can stuff 26 with 1.5 coils cut off grams springs and feeds reliably, watch henning tune 40 mags on follower tilt. I run 6 lb recoil , gun doesn’t move flat shooter for sure. You are correct it’s not a 1911 but wasn’t designed to be but still competitive and I think they look at feel better

Light strikes can be a sommmmabich to chase down , swapping parts trying to find right combo etc. my limited 40 has no issues with PD Titan hammer, xl firing pin, Henning trigger 13lb hs, lighting off anything but my gold team has some build same set up and parts won’t light off anything but federals consistently. Shows you how different a few thou can make in a gun.

Over travel and pre travel screw are out of adjustment, pretravel if to much pretravel is taken out ,it will not let sear and trigger bar reset, over travel set to long the trigger wont let go of sear orlet hammer drop, drag on hammer hooks.

I have a limited 40 hard chrome. 20 k plus down pipe no issues what so ever! Lights off cci primers , xl firing pin Henning trigger delta Hammer, eats any ammo you throw at it but my go to match load is3.8 gr TG 200gr bear creek coated pills, cci primers will touch holes at 18 yards all day every day !!!

Someone try some 38 sc or 45 in them, I’ll bring bag tomorrow and stop by shop and try to load them

Says right on package, 45 and 38 super won’t work I’m assuming the inside of base pad is not long enough for the OAL of 45 or 38. I didn’t have calipers but seems to look pretty short.

Rrrrrrg my local shop has 2 and I’m the only one in a 3 state area that shoots tangfo open . 38 sc won’t work with em. €£%#|&

I’m deciding if i wana “pull the trigger “ on one of these, how many mags do they come with? And from what I’m understanding your saying the .355 projectiles doesn’t work? What are you meaning by this?

So I’ve been running cci SPP for ever in my limited 40 , PDxl firing pin hammer 15 lb spring blah blah blah, light strikes a non issue never ever! Same exact set up in GT light strikes every 100 rds or so. So he’ll ill swap top ends see if it goes bang. Light strikes again. So I’m dropping cci for federals just a lil rant for the day ?. Continue on lol

I run 38sc. 124 jhp 10.2gr 3n38 federal primers 182pf v12 barrel flat Reliability is subjective. I bought a used gun with no prior knowledge that the gun had issues and owner F”d internals up. I have had my share of problems feeding extraction etc. sent gun off to PAtriot defense and Joe handled the demon gun like a champ. For price point, availability, knowledge amongst Tangfo owners, I haven’t went away from this platform, I’ve delt with troubles as they come , any open gun will have hiccups, hell at Oregon state I seen every builders platform go down.

Yes all gold team owners have had issues with feeding light strikes mag problems extractor issues etc. seen a few barrel lug issues but not many. You will figure it out, kujo was having same issues you are having both with aftermarket barrel comp set ups if I’m correct.

I have a spare barrel 38s single port brand new , is slide stroked? Are you running buffers

Lock up timing issue,comp to slide fit issue, I have 5000 rds in gold team barrel looks brand new, 30k on a limited still looks new. Do you have stock barrel and comp? Or just fit from CC ?

Go 38 super, easier on recoil, makes major very simple with v12 barrel and minor as well . 10.6 gr 3n38 is match ammo 10.2 practice, 124 jhp makes major all day. Minor 8.6 on a 115 rn soft as hell! I run a 6 lb recoil minor 8 major pf these guns are flat !
