  1. Anyone know why bullets won't drop. Worked perfect for a month and just stopped.
  2. Just received the 2.5 MOA version today. The dot, as previously noted, is very bright. However there are only a couple of useful settings. I think I'll stay with the RTS2. JMO.

    Primers

S&B SP run fine in both my guns.
  4. You might consider staking the front sight. I did that on a Limited that twice had front sight issues. Never again after staking.
  5. Short answer -neither. If you're shooting anything other than Open major go with HI-Tek coated bullets. Accurate, inexpensive and easy on the barrel.
  6. Not sure where the Limcat compares but I have them on two guns and couldn't be more pleased.
  7. Can't beat SNS. Great bullets and wholehearted sponsors of our sport.
  8. Precision Delta is 8.9 cents/1000 delivered. About the lowest you can spend on a 124 grain JHP. You can save as much as 3 cents going with coated. The SNS 125 RN is very good. Plated is not an ideal choice. They do not group well at major power. Makes no sense when you can get plated for less than JHP? I agree with Sarge and Gamil. The Precision I shot were 185 grain in Limited. They were easy to load, soft shooting, ran well and were very dirty!
  9. Don't forget Precision Delta and Zero. Along with MG this is your universe!
  10. JHP for major. You might try a Hi-tek coated bullet as a minor load for steel. I've had some success with these. It may take some experimentation to find the same POI with major and minor loads.
  11. Not withstanding color preferance - hard chrome. JMO.
  12. Appendix D4. 21.6. A larger mag release may only be used if it is an OFM and is available on the approved model gun.
  13. TOP BULLET MANUFACTURER SURVEY 2015 NATIONALS MONTANA GOLD - 52% PRECISION DELTA - 13% ZERO BERRY’S - 12% 77% Use Jacketed Bullets Extreme 3% Plated do not cost less than Jacket so I don't see the value. JMO.
  14. Shot this load at steel today. No leading and as accurate as my major loads. Very impressed.
  15. Tried a new combination at the suggestion of a fellow open shooter. I shoot 124 Precision Delta at 1.165 LOA and 7.8 Silhouette. Today I shot SNS 124 at 1.5 LOA with 4 grains of WST. POI was indentical at 18 yards with my capability. I'm going to try this at a steel match tomorrow.
  16. I sent the 7.5 DPP back. The triangle was just a large shape for me with old eyes and astigmatism. I'll probably try the 2.5.
  17. Sure looked like great stages!
  18. Mine do not. I think it is caused by the different bullet velocities.
  19. I have 2 140s and 1 170. They run flawlessly.
  20. I finally settled on 1.175 LOA SNS 200 grain bullets , 4.0 grains WST and a 12.5 ISMI recoil spring. This was a very soft and repeatable combination. Feel free to ask more questions as you will certainly get more advice.
  21. 124 JHP either MG or Precision Delta at 1.165 LOA and 7.5 grains. No hole and 170PF.
  22. Limcat makes a DPP mount with thumb rest for $130. I have 2 for RTS2 guns and couldn't be happier. My DPP should be here this week.

    Comp Cleaning

Please shoot a video the next time you clean the comp.
  24. Thanks for the update. I'll be trying a 7.5 later this week and will share my experiences.
