I guess I'm in the minority but I did not like any of the roller handles.
I do like :
Low Mass Detent Ball
Spent Primer Tube Under the bench
Load 40 AND 9 with 4 heads for Minor and Major.
Either STI or SV triggers can be set up for light triggers pulls. A competent gunsmith can accomplish this with either system. The main difference is the adjustability of SV triggers that fit in the trigger bow. SV has every shape imaginable and it is easy for anyone to change shapes.
I have a new to me stroked Akai. I've spoken woth Shay who was very helpful. His advice for springs was to use standard government springs and cut off about 6 or 7 coils. I'm still unclear as to why. Can anyone shed more light on this topic. Thanks in advance.
Fortunately I have had guns from both builders. Neither made me better but I felt great owning them. JMO but I prefer the Akai. The previous post by Neil is from a gun he purchased from me. He seems to agree?
Go with the 650 and don't look back. I did not like the Roller Handle and use the original ball on both of my 650s. I also think once you get used to the 650 you may find the bullet feeder is not necessary. I feel it wouldn't add much to my output. JMO/
I have Two PM9s set up for SS or ESP both with a second 40 top. They have SV trigger parts, Koening hammers and Perman grips. The Wesson is a great platform.
I purchased mine on 1/22 from Abel's Ammo. Yesterday I cancelled. With all the great limited guns on the forum I couldn't continue to wait. Good luck to those waiting.
I had a problem with a CGW SP01 over the weekend and called Dave. He immediately issued a Fedex return and I received the gun today. So many people promise great customer support but rarely is it this simple. Dave doesn't know me from Adam. This is how he conducts his business. Thanks again - CGW!
I have 2 Pointman 9 and love them. I added the Perman grip (large hands), Dawson no gap magwell and a trigger job. I use Dawson mags. You might try a WTB post in the classified section. Both of mine came from there.
