  1. Does anyone read the fine print? This was up way before the movie even released. If you purchase a shotgun through us, the tentative lead time is set at 6-9 WEEKS. If you send in your own shotgun to get our gunsmithing work done, the turn around time is currently at 10-12 WEEKS. You may call us for further information - (805) 522-1911
  2. A small drop of blue loctite won't hurt once all the threads are degreased... kinda like belt and suspenders.
  3. Don't need them. The trigger pack has springs at the bottom that push against the pins. Never had any walk on me. With that said, I never had any trigger pins walk on me on any AR.
  4. That was a slow cadence. The trigger is MUCH faster.
  5. Here's my new light and nimble build for bay matches that don't require super long range. Carbine length gas systems are known to be harsh compared to mid/int/rifle but with proper tuning you can get them to shoot really soft. Trust me, it's far from a macho thing. There's nothing to prove when it comes to gaming. Just wanted to get that out of the way. Obviously the brake has a lot to do with the recoil but because of the lightweight buffer, lightweight BCG, and adjustable gas block, I barely feel a "thump" on my shoulder.
  6. +1 on the Aero Atlas S-One handguards. I REALLY like how the mid section is super skinny. Installation is a breeze as well. I just built a gaming SBR with one. I suggest you also check out the Warne XSKEL scope mounts. They are lightweight and robust. It has been said that the Aero mounts based on how the rings clamp together can possibly loosen thus possibly losing zero when the scope gets banged on taking a hard dump in a barrel. Is there proof of this actually happening in the wild? No idea but it's been mentioned. What type of competition will you be doing? I'm assuming 3 gun. Don't worry about stainless barrels and barrel whip. It's a non-issue. Remember, paper targets are either one hit on the A zone and move on or "any two will do" on the target as long as the shots are within the Delta ring.
  7. I’ve used AIM’s and Brownells LW BCG with preference to the Brownells. It’s 8.2 oz complete on my scale. They are about $100 and work just fine. No issue thus far. Does what it’s supposed to do. The Wilson 3G is far from a 2 stage. If they consider some very teeny tiny pretravel as the first stage they are crazy. It’s not something you roll into and go there’s the first stage. And now I’m at the wall.
  8. This is just an opinion of ONE but for a gaming stick, I'd go lightweight BCG, lightweight or gutted buffer, and use an adjustable gas block. It's seriously like shooting an air gun. I have both of your preferred triggers and of the two, I like the Wilson for obvious reasons. The break is roughly ~3.5# and reset is lightning fast. Double taps are easy. Here’s me running the Wilson. It’s fast.
  9. Barrels have gotten longer and longer. Is it good? Up to you. You’ll get varied responses. How a shotgun swings is a personal thing. I’m good with a 21” or 24” barrel.
  10. I know this post is a few months old but do you shoot a 1911 platform often? Nothing continuous training and muscle memory can't fix but I've seen way to many videos of traffic stops with shootings that happen in a blink of an eye. Even though I'm proficient in the platform (safety manipulation) I prefer a duty weapon without a manual safety. And yes, I'm a 1911 junkie. Barrel length to me for duty doesn't matter as I carry an RMR on my G19. If I'm having to actively engage human targets over 25 yards I'm unlocking my SBR from the rack. Anyway the main thing is making sure your gun works with the mags you have and the ammo you will use for duty. Running "flawless" 500 rounds of ball ammo and calling it "good" can mean squat with duty ammo.
  11. Yes that was discussed earlier. No immediate ETA from MOA on their lifters. Trust me, I have spent hundreds at MOA and other shops.
  12. Right now they are $205 shipped.
  13. I didn’t have issues to begin with but I did recently get the heavy bolt setup and the modified hammer to run 1145 fps shells. No issues with well over 100 consecutive firings. A buddy of mine had a dead trigger with his M3K with the stock recoil spring and MOA reduced recoil spring sans heavy carrier. Wasn’t a click but more of a trigger that wouldn’t do anything.

  15. They do but they don’t have a time line yet and told me to check back in a few weeks. I’ll definitely get the MOA lifter for my M3K though whenever they catch up.
  16. Damn.. I guess I should keep my expectations very low. Guessing next month or more from now.
  17. Anyone order a J Kenny auto lifter? Just pulled the trigger on one. Wonder when they’ll start shipping.
  18. My M3K has been fortunate enough to run 100% out of the box. With that said I recently replaced everything I could replace with Benelli parts and MOA parts. The main thing was the heavy bolt carrier setup from MOA. It cycled 1145’s no problems. Tried 980’s for grins and nope. Took the M3K out again today and continued to run like a top with 1180 2.75 dram shells. It’s not my primary shotgun but it’s good to know I can depend on it.
  19. Interesting. I was wondering if the juice was worth the squeeze.
  20. I know it’s not a new thing or maybe it is but what’s up with people using the Ethos bolts in their M2’s? Weight? How it locks up?
  21. Makes sense. I'll let him know to pay attention to it. I didn't even think to look at the hammer this morning. Besides sending it back in, is there something that can be done with simple factory parts swap?
  22. A shell was loaded each time.
  23. First I apologize for not reading all 130+ pages.. I took two M3K's out this morning to pattern and I noticed my friend's shotgun was having very random dead triggers. Wasn't a click but rather felt like it never re-cocked and couldn't press on the trigger. I'm guessing the bolt short stroked? I consider his M3K broken in as it has been to a multiple range sessions and matches already. His shotgun also has MOA's reduced recoil spring and can cycle 1145 FPS and faster shells just fine. I spoke to him and he said he also experienced the dead trigger in matches. Ammo issue or is there something else?
  24. I have an X5 match target Bar-Sto barrel and it shows a metric crap ton of wear marks and scratches. I don't care about it but just worth noting if you want stainless.
