  1. Yes, it's the Sevigny competition rear. I bought the set and ditched the front because my Dawson was already installed. The size for the Dawson is .105 x .225 (p/n 019-002) You'll find that it's the front to match a Heinie rear. It's the same size needed for the Sevigny rear.
  2. Standard mag baseplate Extended mag baseplate
  3. I just received mine from Brownells the other day. Unfortunately I didn't get it in time for my match. As far as fitment it is pretty snug. It's not loose. Only time will tell if it will start to move or not. The JP magwell had a hard time "slipping" onto the front of the grip. I finally got it on there but ended up cutting up some of the plastic on the gun because I forced it on there. I was not patient. I have "Version 2" so there is no screw in the backstrap. The magwell screwed down into a grip plug. Edited for pictures..
  4. While I didn't win I did come in 4th place out of 20 shooters with 8 CoF's. Not too bad.
  5. Here's the best I could do to replicate my point of view. It's pretty close.
  6. It's not to scale. The light bars a little smaller than that but not by much. There is plenty of light on each side. A bunch more than with the Heinie. I'll try to take a better picture tonight to resemble my point of view a bit better. It was hard trying to focus on the front sight with the camera.
  7. I shot at a practical match today. It's not sanctioned but scored it kept, etc.. Anyway I LOVE IT! I'm not the world's greatest shot but I picked up the front sight very fast and was on target much faster than with the Heinie rear. The glow of the Dawson front is awesome too. This is definitely a winning combo in my book. Here's a picture of the sight picture. It looks pretty close in real life. Plenty of light on each side of the front sight.
  8. I sighted in the sights today and it's still dead on with the Dawson front. The true test comes tomorrow when I will shoot the 35 in a non-sanctioned practical match. I'll let you guys know.
  9. I just ditched the Heinie rear for a Sevigny rear. I kept the Dawson FO front on. I'll be at the range testing it out tomorrow. The opening is much wider. I wonder if that's going to affect me. I was used to the smaller light bars of the Heinie/Dawson front.
  10. I'm glad they are considering the Glock slides again. I guess they were tired of answering the emails on the availability of them. I voted for the 35 because that's all I have. I wouldn't mind having a Caspian 17 slide.
  11. Off topic but is Ralph out of town?
  12. I use a Safariland 5186 with my 35. It fits just fine with the Dawson front. No light can be seen through the loops.
  13. Hey guys, does anyone know what type of trigger spring Triggerkit uses? It is just a plain Wolff extra power spring that I can order online? I'm trying to collect a set of spare springs for my gun. I have the Triggerkit.. Thanks!
  14. Thanks for the reply. Right now I have a Heinie slant pro rear and a Dawson .105 x .225 fiber optic front. I guess I don't need to order a new front sight. Works for me!
  15. I'm still new to the sight sizing and such. I have a set of Sevigny competition sights on order for my G35. To keep things the same if you will, is there a recommended size FO front sight to get? I really like Dawson fronts but don't know which size. Any help would be greatful. Thanks!
  16. Does anyone recommend this holster?
  17. Hrm... mine was smooth. And, yes, he does a lot to the trigger bar. Thanks. I've contacted Ralph.
  18. Question about the trigger bar. My 35 came with a smooth faced trigger while the one that came with Ralph's kit is serrated. I took Ralph's bar out and put the factory one back in after polishing it. I prefer a smooth trigger. For some reason (maybe it's finger fatigue) the pull feels a bit heavier now. Does Ralph do anything to the trigger bar besides polishing it? Your expert advice is greatly appreciated.
  19. My trigger kit arrived today. Everything looks good. My question, is it okay to polish the parts a bit more? The parts are shiny but I want more bling. I'll be using a very light polishing cream. Another question. Is it the springs that are really giving me the light trigger pull? Edit: I went ahead and buffed the parts out a bit more. They are really nice and shiny now. I hope it doesn't affect the trigger pull too much.
  20. Has anyone kept the factory rear fixed or adjustable sight and used it with a FO front sight? If so, how is it? If you don't mind me asking, what size front did you use (height and width)? Thanks and sorry if this has been brought up before.
  21. My kit just shipped out today. I'll give a report in a week or two..
  22. Hey guys. Question about the trigger kit. Do I need to do anything to the factory 3.5# connector on the G35? Meaning do I need to polish it before installing the kit? Thanks. PS-Anyone try this combo with a Vanek housing? I'm assuming this combo is going to be nice.
  23. I DON'T want my slide cut. I was browsing and came across their services. I hope I can shoot as well as they can.
  24. I was browsing http://www.handgunneroutlet.net/gallery/OpenGlock2.htm and came across this. Does this cut really help balance the G22 or is it just used to help cycle the slide quicker? Tom Novak also offers the EDM slide cuts.
