Considering moving to the 4.6" club from a 5" 2011. Anyone else made the switch? Thoughts?

My SD arrived at my FFL yesterday. Getting home and will pick it up over the weekend. I had 2 LD’s but really didn’t like the nose weight. Selling my open pistols as going to stick to “Open light”, and this is my hopeful option.

What recommendations for the A01-SD? Same as CZ75?

Looking for an OR version. Are these long throated barrels (ie don't need to get them reamed for a 1.150 load)?

Just got the message that mine is finishing up this week. Likely sell my Rafferty 9mm open pistol then as its just not getting used but need a dot due to the eyes not what they used to be.

I just worked up a load with my new to me Rafferty Jelly Roll....HAP 115 on 10.6gr AA7 at 1.165. Cleaning more often but very flat shooting. Crony time this weekend.

I used Ron's shop to coat 2 CZ's and Tanfo a few years ago. One frame was not done properly and he promptly responded and refinished. All else the quality was excellent. Found communications were difficult though back then so unsure of what is transpiring now.

As the title states, looking to maroon a few magwells, triggers, mounts, basepads etc.

Ended up moving to a Rafferty...but the Honcho is still one of the flattest shooting major power factor pistols I have shot.

Maybe this has been covered before, but hypothetically, what if I were to create a metal version of a grip module (say on a Sig Legion) that did not have flared openings, magwell etc. Just different grip texture. No "real" beavertail etc. Permissible?

Hmm. Have an RTS2 V5 sitting in front of me (do like the window...maybe just used to it), an Alpha NIB waiting on an MPA Open application, and agree on the SRO hate.....and "had" a Stock 2 with an RTS2 that just keeps going according to the current owner......
