Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. I'll place an order for Super then. Shot a Colt single stack in mostly steel matches in the 80's and never had a single feed issue. Thanks..
  2. Picking up a Dan Wesson CCO for carry. Any reason to choose one brass over the other assuming both are available? Starting from scratch.
  3. Did he have some available then? How much? I've thought about picking up a second one, can't imagine life without one!
  4. I lied. I assumed my sight was pinned since it had the hole for a pin, but after looking at it with my reading glasses and a light there is NO pin in it. If I have trouble with it, I'll probably just pin it myself. I'm sticking with irons.
  5. Is your front sight not pinned? Mine is... running change maybe?

    Shadow 2 Compact

I can tell you, I wish the texturing on the DWX was grippier. I'm know I'm going to prefer the checkering on the S2c
  7. Single side only, if you haven't already found out.

Didn't see any on the site?

I plan on doing just that as soon as I find a S2c
  10. Another great option in seating dies is the Forster Benchrest. Sliding sleeve like the Redding Comp, but no micrometer, at least with the versions I have.
  11. Initial observation, running empty cases through, they just come to a dead stop. ZERO wiggle. I think they will work great at minimizing spillage. I'll keep the zip tie on to control wobble between stations.
  12. Completely unrelated, but as a new 1100 operator like some on this thread, I've found it helpful and less tiresome to shorten the length of the handle. It's completely unnecessary to have so much leverage when loading processed brass. The lock screw holds it in place no problem without the divot. Sorry about the drift. Waiting for delivery today of the Reloading Innovation spill stop kit.
