  1. 5.25" Taccom barrel & pinned shroud .. 3.8gr Sport Pistol.. 124gr bullet Everglades plated bullets .. 5 shot average - 1027fps - 127.3 PF --- dot hardly moves... very accurate..
  2. yes... I experienced feeding problems using Precision Delta JHP 124 gr bullets in both my PCC's... adjusted the AOL from 1.08 up to 1.16 without any success... when I shot some Everglades 124 RN plated bullets both PCC's ran 100%... I have tried 100 gr Berry's hollow base bullets as well as Berry's RN 115 gr plated bullets... they also ran 100% .. when I was having problems with JHP bullets.. I called Tim at Taccom.. he said some PCC''s run with JHP's some won't... so from now on.... I will only use round nose bullets in my PCC's However .. I do run Precision Delta JHP bullets in all my Open major guns... they all run 100% ..
  3. Taccom ULW 5.25" complete upper … QC 10 lower... HiperFire 24C trigger... Blitzkrieg Hyd. buffer standard... Springco red spring.. both PCC's has run 100% … using RN 124 gr plated bullets...
  4. I shoot a Taccom 5.25" ULW barreled upper in my PCC w/Quarter Circle lower w/Blitzkrieg buffer.. … 124 gr plated bullets & 3.8gr Sport Pistol registers 129 PF .. downs falling steel with no problem.. however I plan to try some 100 gr bullets soon...
  5. another Sport Pistol powder fan... I am using 124 gr Everglades 9mm plated bullets in my Taccom ULW 5.25" barreled PCC … 3.8 gr Sport Pistol registers 129 PF on my chrono .. COL is 1.15" .. no trouble downing falling steel ..
  6. nope.. both my PCC's are Taccom ULW uppers with Quarter Circle lowers...
  7. Blitzkrieg hyd buffer was the softest, most accurate & fastest shooting of all the buffer set ups I have tested thus far.. choose spring stiffness depending on your desired PF ..
  8. I am yet to experience a firing pin breakage .. ( over 7500 rounds & counting) . presently I am using a Hiper Fire 24C trigger & Taccom firing pin..
  9. do a search on a Blitzkrieg hydraulic buffer or No Kick hydraulic buffer... .. & depending on your power factor several different weight buffer springs work great..
  10. another vote for Pro Ears GOLD..
  11. because I am frugal.. I bought some Tourna Grip RX at Wally World .. much cheaper than most... and works as good as all the others I have tired..
  12. yes.... Tim did post something about using a 1/2" PVC pipe to clean a the shroud on their upper..... not sure how easy it is... how ever I think I will continue to shoot plate bullets..
  13. I have shot over 10,000 Everglades plated 124gr bullets... no build up when my PCC had a comp.. reasonable & very accurate .. I recently installed a Taccom ULW 5.25" barrel on both of my PCC's … no compensator .. but.. was told by Tim at Taccom not to shoot coated bullets because it coats the aluminum shroud which requires tedious removal..
  14. my STI DVC's barrel has TIN coating on it... nary a scratch or evidence of any wear what so ever on the TIN coated barrel... seems pretty durable to me... who ever does STI's TIN coating knows what the heck they are doing....
  15. Yep... I shoot LH... upper and lower are STAG components ...
  16. I don't have the delayed blowback buffer in my PCC... presently using a Blitzkrieg hydraulic buffer w/white Springco carbine spring … loading a 124gr RN bullet (plated) with 3.8gr Sport Pistol to 1.155 COL... not much dot movement.. and soft shooting... have some 115gr bullets on order.. and would also like to try some 100 gr bullets … would like to try short stroking my PCC as well.. the quest continues... THANKS FOR THE FEEDBACK, GUYS .
  17. got my back up PCC finished... Taccom ULW 5.25" upper w/Quarter Circle lower ..
  18. my PCC has a Taccom 5.25" barrel .. so it should be the same as a pistol... just wanted to find a load to shoot steel challenge.. how ever accuracy is a concern... thanks,
