  1. I don't know, but I guarantee you after my practice session next weekend I will have a good idea..
  2. What discounts? I looked for broke 3-gunner in the drop down menu but it still wasn't there. The computer probably said "But your Jesse Tischauser.... You have your own sunglasses line...You don't need any stinking discounts" ...
  3. Yes we rescheduled the 2015 Texas 3 Gun Championship to the end of the month so that we would not conflict with the NRA National Meetings. If I don't go to the meetings I might come shoot this match since I don't get to shoot ours..
  4. I saw photos of the slide, it's plastic, or maybe painted metal? Better hope it is plastic, ever sit on a metal slide in the sun? That sucka better be sturdy... I'm just saying.. I would hate to have a stage tossed because a prop is not fat guy friendly.. And glad I have a bit over a month to figure out away to put a sling on my rifle..

  6. While the Thursday through Saturday match format similar to what is utilized at the FNH match is very nice, this match will be a traditional Friday-Sunday match for all the reasons you mentioned there. The dates are the 24th-26th of April, 2015. Add it to your schedule because it is not going to be something you want to miss.
  7. If y'all are staying at the La Quinta you should hit the road early because of the triathlon. They are closing the bridge down to one lane.
  8. The La Quinta is nice.. My parents live there and they stayed at the La Quinta when they were closing on their house.
  9. Yup, loading a shotgun is a critical part of real 3 gun. I hate that 3GN has driven people away from stages where you have to reload..... Reloading the shotgun is as important a part of multigun as shooting it is. That said, sounds like the big shotgun course might not have made it in the match after all.......
  10. My stage is birdshot only.. 30+ rounds.. Factor that in. But as usual for the Multigun, bring a lot of everything as there are lots of options available to you.
  11. Doing that for a reason? That is about 3x as far.. I was joking but you can never be too safe. LOL.. early morning got me..
  12. Flying into Reagan is not the best idea. Flying into BWI is really a no go. Dulles is safest and closest to Peacemaker. No worries about the PC anti-gun / magazine storm troopers there.. No wrong turns to accidentally end up in DC where a single spent brass casing lands you in jail.
  13. I think that has been up for awhile - I was hoping for an update since we are 3 weeks out. How about now since we're 10 days out now... Bring some stout bird shot... We talking Prairie Storm #6 shot stout? Never shot it, but that sure sounds stout....
  14. 143 in Tac Ops at 8am 4/2..... Happy April Fools day everyone..
  15. Because an empty gun is safer than a loaded gun with the safety engaged and an empty gun with the safety engaged is just a wasted movement...

  17. So there is a pretty drastic change in the particular rule that caused a stupid high number of DQ's between those 2 rules sets. Any idea what 2013 said, because NOBODY in my squad in 2013 dropped the magazine or engaged the safety on the prop gun. Just to stay clear. 2010 rules as posted above. During the course requirements of a multi-gun stage, a participant may be required to ground a firearm in order to transition to another. The location and position of the grounded firearm will be specified in the Written Stage Briefing. A participant shall transition firearms by safely grounding a firearm using either of the following acceptable and safe methods: a. Loaded, safety engaged. b. Unloaded. Note: For purposes of IMA Rules, “unloaded” means: c. Empty chamber and empty source (tube or magazine); or d. Empty chamber and magazine completely removed. 2014 rules 2.5.3 Abandoning a firearm during a stage in any location other than a safe abandonment location as stipulated in the stage briefing. Firearms may only be abandoned in one of the following conditions: 2.5.3.1 Loaded, safety catch fully engaged, muzzle pointed in the designated safe direction. 2.5.3.2 Completely unloaded (no ammunition in the firearm), detachable magazine removed, muzzle pointed in the designated safe direction I
