450ish yards if I remember right, other than the prop gun shot. That was a target you could re-engage if necessary at 600 yards.

I hear ya Mac. Why the 2 day format instead of the standard 3 days? If shooting isn't over until 5 then the soonest you could have a winner is 6 unless you aren't going to allow for arbitration. The real time scoring is awesome. We did it at the TX Multigun bit we also found that not everyone is willing or able to keep up with their scores in real time.

Mac, I was looking at the schedule and something seems all wrong. If you have people shooting until 5 on Sunday when are you doing the prize table. I for one have either a day and a half drive or have to figure out a flight to get there. This makes it kind of harder to plan for.

Not just about the shooter...The sponsors should know too. USPSA nationals let folks see the prize tables before awards, which is good for sponsors. Bags hidden in a back room that no one can see...not good. Agreed. Everything hidden in bags on the prize table is even worse..

So I am not trying to start an argument or anything, I really just am curious to hear from match administrators on how you do prize table distribution. We all know that most major matches are heavy in the Tac Optics division, more so now that 3GN is forcing everyone that way. A lot of major matches will have a distribution of approximately 350 shooter; 250 in tac optics, 40-50 in Open, 25-30 in Limited, and 25-30 in Heavy (plus any other variations like Heavy Optics vs Heavy Metal). My question is how do you determine which prize table the stuff goes on. A lot of matches seem to have the prize table heavily favoring Tac Optics. One match I attended last year had the top 20-25% of the shooters in that division with either a gun or a high end optic. At that same match there were 45 open shooters and one gun and one scope. The other smaller divisions were similarly represented both in numbers of shooters and stuff on the prize table. Sorry if this question has been asked/answered before. The answer isn't going to make me jump back into Tac Optics. Thanks.

After watching Dave sit and write complex SQL statements to pull things out of the database and put them in the front end I will not say if anything is easy or difficult at this point. He is looking into it though.

I do not believe the scoring application currently provides a way to post the stage scores... I think that is a feature add that is being considered based upon feedback.

Glad you had fun Pat. Not gonna make it so easy for you next year... It hurt sitting entering scores all weekend watching myself drop on the leaderboard...

I had one stage where I needed 28 rounds in my shotgun and it only held 26 so I put one speed loader in between shooting positions. If you are shooting tac then unless you really hate your pistol I don't see you needing to reload your shotgun at all...

In retrospect to understand how much choice there is. I used about 150 rounds of pistol ammo and almost 175 rounds of bird shot. I didn't use any buckshot at all. Didn't track my rifle rounds.

Agreed that is pretty screwed up. There wasn't anywhere to put our number in before or at the damn match.

1 bonus target at 530. Longest penalty target is 475 x2. Very fun match. Bring your track shoes.
